"My wife and I along with our 5 year old son called in to this pub as we were passing by, quite late and asked if food was available, it was not a busy night and it looked like every one was just relaxing, the owner explained there was only limited food available as they were not really expecting any one to dine there by that time but he was happy to cook something for us, the food was excellent, the portions were generous, and service was prompt and very friendly, I would recommend to anyone, not over priced as so many places. A great steak dinner. Thank you."

I visited on Monday, but they didn't serve food. On Tuesday, the kitchen was closed. The staff were terrible, which is why many pubs are shutting down. They seem to have no idea how to treat customers and appeared quite lazy. I will not be returning. Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.

When our food finally arrived, my steak was tough and chewy, like rubber. It was disappointing, especially considering it cost £19. My wife has been feeling unwell all day, and we usually enjoy dessert, but we couldn't wait to leave. This restaurant really needs to reconsider their meat suppliers and improve the quality of their food. Overall, it was not worth the money.

"We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, though it's important to be mindful of your reservation time to make the most of your visit. We ordered six cocktails for £99, which came to around £15 each, and my wife and I found them to be a great value. Along with the drinks, we also received a few delightful extras, depending on our choices. No matter what you pick, you won't be disappointed. "I had a disappointing experience with the fish and chips here. The batter was bland and soggy, even though it was freshly made. Charging £5 for just a battered sausage is absurd. They also charged cod prices for hake, which seems unfair. Honestly, I've had better fish and chips from some of the least reputable places in Glasgow. The girl at the counter was quite arrogant, too. I wouldn't recommend the tartar sauce, which costs an additional £1.20; it lacked flavor and was basically just glorified mayonnaise. Anyone who thinks this place is good clearly hasn’t experienced a quality fish supper before."

"I went with my friend and my toddler and I was impressed how kid friendly this place was. There was a small buggy park (which would only fit one maybe two prams but rare to find at all in restaurants), baby changing, highchairs and a kids menu. It is up a flight of stairs though if you are bringing a buggy but the waiter was so kind and immediately offered to help me with the buggy. All the waiters and waitresses were absolutely lovely, they were so attentive and helpful. Really kind and friendly. The food was delicious, I had the chickpea and aubergine stew with naan and it was lovely and warming on a cold winter’s day. My daughter very much enjoyed her meal which came with complimentary juice which she very much appreciated! My friend also had the stew and really liked it too. A really lovely spot and brilliant for kids, I felt so welcomed and everyone was so kind and helpful with my daughter."

"I was here with my husband yesterday... I was very excited to come here to have breakfast because we're following the 4.5-star reviews. There are good services from the waitress. When food arrives, it looks amazing. But as soon as i have my first bite, I realize that the food is not hot and not even warm. It's not cold but I expected a hot breakfast, that's why we came to the restaurant. I can eat but not impressed and I can't finish because I don't feel enjoying my breakfast anymore. Eggs, sauce, and bread were not even warm... at least the bread is still crispy. And then, after my stomach didn't feel right because I really needed hot food in this cold weather. But my husband dish is hot like super. I didn't expect to have food at the same time with my husband. But I just wanted to have a nice hot food for breakfast in the cold weather."

"No complaints about tasting menu it was good. Matching wines ok, first good, other less so. What I do not want to get to 9 with pre-booked tasting menu, table not ready, dumps up for half an hour near a very loud wedding party, normal menu handed us over when we have already chosen. A drink was offered after 10 minutes, but we didn't want an aperitif somewhere else with friends. No real excuse. It got better when we sit down."
