Una rara trattoria che, mantenendo le antiche tradizioni, ha saputo evolversi. La signora Paola è il vero punto forte nella sua più assoluta autenticità. Ci si torna sempre molto volentieri.

This restaurant is a piece of local history. It runs since more than one century and under the same family since more than 70 years. The place is very well representative of the local history of this piece of land in between the city of Milan and the lake of Como. Food is very good and the atmosphere is very friendly.

Qui non si entra certo nel lusso, locale molto rustico ma accogliente, menù a voce tutto invitante.Abbiamo preso tutti dei ravioloni con farina di castagne (ottimo è dir poco) e poi merluzzo e carne.Non ho pagato io ma credo che i prezzi siano popolari, specialmente a pranzo.Ottimo servizio, piccolo parcheggio all'interno

Ho cenato in questo ristorante con degli amici qualche giorno fa. Ho trovato una vera cucina onesta come la nonna. Grande cura nei piatti e materie prime di grande qualità. antipasto antipasto. Prima va bene. porzioni abbondanti. Se posso raccomandare, aggiungerei ai secondi almeno una scelta vegetariana ma capisco che sono gusti. Se è una bella serata estiva, prenota i tavoli all'esterno sotto la meravigliosa pianta glicina. troverete ristoro.

We arrived to Riva serendipitously. Our GPS got it right! A hidden gem of a restaurant with impeccable service and great food. The hostess speaks German and English (in addition to Italian of course). She made us feel at home. Unpretentious and hidden from sight (owner should put a sign on the road to funnel traffic a bit better), the restaurant makes a beautiful job at preparing classic Italian dishes. We probably had the best gnocchi di zucca ever. Meat and chicken were finely executed as well as the dessert. Congratulations to the owners!

This restaurant is very old style indeed which gives it plenty of charm. The menu is rather restricted but we ate the starter of the house which was tasty, the first course which was nothing special but not bad and the overly priced 2nd courses. The food was all pretty good, I don't fault the quality at all but moreso the quantity and prices. The second course consisted of 2 little slices of stracotto and a bit of polenta not worth of the €12 price. The desserts again at €5 were very good but again considering the location and the style of the place seem a tad expensive. The wines too have an extremely high markup, compared to most other places.
