7 of us arrived without booking and were immediately seated and our orders taken. The woman serving was fabulous. Great customer service, efficiently and expertly cooked delicious food. Couldn't fault it.

Excellent coffee. We come to Hull from Sheffield on a regular basis and and their coffee is second to none. Over 3 days we had flat whites/lattes/cappuccinos and every cup was perfect in both taste and temperature. Staff are very friendly and we would recommend this place to any coffee aficionado. Thanks guys.

I regularly pop into Wonky Tulip as it is just around the corner from my flat and I've always had fantastic service from the super friendly staff. The food is absolutely amazing, particularly because of the homemade bread used for sandwiches. I highly recommend anyone in the city, either visiting or just lives here, to go there when they can. The customer service at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic. They even went above and beyond by asking what items I wanted in my salad, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was amazing and definitely worth the price. The sandwich was so generously filled that I could barely take a bite! Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience for my partner and me, and the decor was lovely as well.

Where have they found the staff? Been multiple times and met all three staff members and they’re all so welcoming and charming. The menu is very good with an array of options and the house made cakes are to die for. Plus its the best coffee in Hull by a country mile! Great to see they’re still open during lockdown and are following guidelines very well, would recommend to all locals and travellers.

In the current climate we all need a pick-me-up that is what I got when Riverhouse Coffee opened again serving take-out coffee snacks. If you are strolling around the old town in Hull give them a try. The coffee is amazing served by really friendly staff who are currently making the best of a bad situation. We decided to try Wonky Tulip for breakfast while staying at the nearby Premier Inn in order to support a local business. Mark greeted us warmly and made us feel comfortable in the current situation. We enjoyed delicious freshly made sandwiches and hot drinks. We highly recommend this place, especially the breakfast wrap, although we were too full to try the cakes. Mark also gave us a great recommendation for Liverpool. We will definitely return next time we are in Hull and will recommend this place to our friends. Thank you, Mark!

We happened upon this place when out exploring some of the older parts of the city on a damp Sunday morning and decided to ‘risk’ a coffee, our second of the day. Nice place inside but there is much scope for improvement on their flat white coffee it was served too hot for our taste, a little bitter in taste and the foam was not dense enough (more suited to a cappuccino), hence not allowing for any latte art (not absolutely essential but a good sign of proper care attention). With several better options elsewhere in the City for great coffee, I guess we’ll not be hurrying back.

During our 4-day trip to Hull, we visited the Wonky Tulip every day for either breakfast or just coffee. Located across the river from the Premier Inn, at one of the entrances to the Old Town, the coffee was top-notch, far superior to the subpar brews often found at large chain establishments. The staff were all welcoming and friendly, with a special shoutout to Linda who provided us with lots of helpful tips and information about local events. The bread was delicious and we couldn't resist buying a loaf to take home. Overall, the prices were very reasonable. If you appreciate quality coffee and excellent service, you won't be disappointed at the Wonky Tulip. Speisekarte ansehen
