Wow, wow, wow, wow and wow... spectacular food, great service.... you were a wedding gift and superbly memorable.... we will be back.

We had a lovely dinner at roots, the service was brilliant and the staff where friendly I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

This is a very special place excellent service, amazing food and wines. A talented chef with passion for the food he produces. Will certainly visit again. Thank You for an excellent lunch.

Stunning food. Honestly the food is amazing. Talking at home last night we decided that Roots would be in our Top 3 restaurants in the world! Rankings as follows Fiji, Southbourne, Hong Kong. This is a hidden gem to say the least.

amazing evening to explore a real night, admire and consume delicious food and wee and of course the obligatory cocktail to begin. pay attention to knowing and proud of eating personal and just going a fantastic place if they like to eat good. unusually amazing for a Bournemouth food store.

We are a group of 8 friends, and tonight we enjoyed a superb meal in the Roots Private dining room. Every course was delicious, and beautifully presented. The beef Wellington, and the Salmon terrine were delicious, the special cheeseboard was incredible, and we greatly appreciated the Prosecco! And all the other courses were super too! We would like to Thank Jan, Stacey and the Roots team for a truly excellent dinner, and a lovely evening. Happy Christmas to you all.

I was already 3 times in this restaurant and was super impressed by absolutely everything. the service, the deep of the knowledge that has the personal, eating was the absolute highlight! the Taster menu was some of the best food I've ever tried. interesting and diverse. I decided to write this review because I only read one that was quite diligent and I felt that incredibly unfair in this business. not my experience at all, and I am happy to sing his praise. I'll be back again and again.

This unassuming restaurant is one not to be missed. From the second you enter, you realise this is a special place with a relaxed and upmarket ambience, and is beautifully decorated. The greeting and service from the outset is impeccable, friendly and helpful staff guide you through every aspect of your dining experience. I am one not to write reviews, but I feel compelled given the incredible lunch I was treated to. The food is second to none, and some of the best I have ever had in a restaurant.
