The food was enjoyable, although it felt a bit pricey. It was £18 for a burger and £6.50 for a pint. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 4 out of 5.

Lovely country pub with a great children’s play area to the side. We only stopped for a drink and some chips on the way out of Brighton, but the chips were fab and the food we saw coming out to other tables looked amazing, so we’ll go back for lunch or dinner soon. Amazed and super pleased to see gluten free beer sold here, truly above and beyond, and very much appreciated. Only popped in for a cool drink on a hot day but couldn't turn down the opportunity to try one I'd not had before, many thanks for thinking of all your customers : Dietary restrictions: Gluten free beer available, great for coeliac fed up of usual options. We told the man that, in situations like this, it would be courteous to give customers a call so they wouldn’t waste a trip. It was obvious he didn’t care at all. After a few phone calls, we decided to head back to Hove, where we enjoyed a fantastic roast dinner at Carne. Because of this experience, I will never return to this pub; it was completely unprofessional. There were still so many reserved tables, so I can only imagine how many other disappointed customers came after us. When people make reservations, it should help the kitchen gauge how busy the day will be! Speisekarte ansehen
