"We had dinner for two here on Monday night, after having been frustrated on Sunday night when almost everything in Barbastro is closed. The nice thing about Ramon is that they open their comedor already at 8:30, as opposed to 9:00 for most other places....We discovered that they had a three-course menu with fish and meat choices for below 20 Euros, including coffee, water, and wine. We had a very nice dining experience, after entering at 8:30 ahead of everybody else. The restaurant on the 2nd floor (1st floor for Europeans) is very stylish and classy. It helps to speak Spanish in this place, and the waitress seemed to warm up to my efforts to make myself understood in the local language. We were served bread with four different olive oils while waiting for our first course to appear. Everything was delicious. The ice cream dessert was outstanding, and we were offered an herb liqueur on the house by a friendly waiter, after coffee. They ended up charging extra for wine, but only 3 Euros per glass, and the wine was outstanding (a locally produced 2019 Bruxelles competition winner). It was probably a misunderstanding, since I had ordered the wine list and had not just stayed with the standard house wine."
