Saracens Head, Beddgelert

I stopped by for a late lunch on Saturday, and the service and food were both outstanding. Overall, I would rate it: Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5.

Beautiful venue just slightly spoilt by the slow Barman if he could serve as much as he talked it would have been 5 stars , non the less would highly recommend !

Lovely place, however, the day we arrived, they were severely short staffed. The guys working the bar did really well. We didn't stay for dinner. One of our party is celiac, the menu didn't offer a large choice pizza's are gluten free though. Service: 4 Location: 5

I dined here and had a wonderful experience. The service was fantastic, and the food was of excellent quality. I enjoyed the fish and chips, which were quite generous in portion size. Overall, I would rate the rooms, service, and location all at 5 stars. This hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway!

Called in for a drink and some lunch today and they had sunday lunch on offer at a very reasonable price. It came very quick and it had the biggest Yorkshire puddings iv ever seen with 3 different potatoes and all the veg. Nice and hot and so tasty. You made our day celebrating our Anniversary. I didn't check out any of the rooms, so I can't provide any feedback on them. However, the food was delightful and the service was outstanding. The staff were very friendly. The only downside was that they don't allow you to set up a tab, so you have to pay for each order as you go, but it's not a major issue. Overall, I would rate the service and location both at 5 stars. Hotel highlights include being quiet and offering great value.

Had a lovely 1 night stay at the Saracens Head. I rang 2 days before to book the room and Sheryl was very helpful and booked us in the Superior King Room (2), this was a lovely room with nice little touches and robes to use if needed. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had drinks there in the afternoon, then had food drinks later that evening. All the food was lovely, and even though they were really busy, we didn't wait long. The owners were really friendly and accommodating (they've only been there 9 weeks). We had a great time at the Saracens head, spent 2 nights there around climbing Snowdon and really enjoyed the room, the food and the company. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The whole place is very dog friendly with great food and treats that went down well.
