"We went there with a group of friends end of March and we were very disappointed by the food (all looked frozen even the bread, but we are in French with plenty of bakery that can bake amazing freshly bread...). The service was also a little slow and we needed to ask twice for drinks and after food (ok we were a good group of people around 9 but still!)... A positive note is the place (cité medieval) and the decoration which are super nice. In the end, my friends and I were ALL disappointed by this prestation ..."

It's hard to choose a restaurant in Carcassonne since they all offer the same menu! Chose this one at random and it was surprisingly nice - the inevitable cassoulet was actually quite nice and so was the duck. Good service and reasonably priced. Speisekarte ansehen

Came here with friends for lunch. Pleasant staff in a unique medical surrounding. Set menu of goats cheese salad followed by confit de canard and ice cream for €14 was very good vfm. Pizzas were very disappointing (hence 3 star) poor tomato sauce and undercooked base. Recommended for this very touristic town.

I came here with a friend from Paris on a recommendation from a local, as my friend spoke French and wanted me to experience the local flavours she ordered entres of Camembert, octopus and beef spine, followed with a main of cassoulet, we were both so full but had to try the desert....the chocolate fondant was something else!!! A must try! The staff were great as was the locally produced wine - so much so I leave with 3 bottles to take home and for the rest of my trip.
