"sasso is a perfect small restaurant for everyone needs or desire. the location is the best to santa maria duomo. it is nested from the place so that they sit under the dach and eat without the half of the world to foot. the interior is a/c’d. the food is delicious, the service is friendly. I recommend the peposo all’Imprudentina. it's a Tuscan pot roast, that's all flesh and taste. the server were very accommodating for my broken italian and could supplement with some English. we came four out of the five days in firenze. it is good eating and very cozy atmosphere. highly recommended. fyi: they don't serve pizza. they don't need, everything on the menu is delicious!"

Ho accidentalmente scoperto questo ristorante, con spazio esterno, in una piazza di raccolta vicino al Duomo. Ho mangiato un ottimo piatto di tortelli locali: pasta fresca. Personale amichevole in servizio. Spero di tornare. Lo consiglio. Grazie!

it is the place that eating is good, is an additional bonus. yes, it is a bit touristic, but they are probably a tourist and I would rather eat good food with an incredible prospect than worry about being a tourist. the service is friendly and helpful, they even offered instructions and advice for the older couple who sat near me who had no handyservice. Overall, I recommend that everyone who visits florence who wants to enjoy a few delicious pasta and take a look that can not be found elsewhere.
