"Service was attentive, friendly unpretentious and thorough. The menu was not extensive, but perhaps benefitted from doing a few things very well rather than a far greater choice. We enjoyed fish, seafood, meat (offal) and the signature Shepherds Pie. Desserts were also exceptionally good. The ambience enabled us to converse freely with family who are hard of hearing, but the atmosphere was still informal and lively. My father in law was fascinated by the division bell. My wife enjoyed the political cartoons."

Shepherd’s was, as usual, a fantastic experience. I’m a regular, but they overheard my friend wishing me happy birthday and brought over complimentary champagne. Would absolutely recommend this hidden gem in the heart of Westminster!

Pleased to be back after a long break away and very happy to see old standards re-established after its period of closure. Helpful staff with a nice welcome. Calm and relaxing ambience with all the trimmings you'd expect of a restaurant of this calibre.

would prefer less salt in the sweet beans with the lamb. we were also disappointed, not the mint sauce would have enjoyed berry crumb with custard instead of drunk cream/ice cream. cauliflower cheese and spinach dishes would be a nice change for vegetarian! Speisekarte ansehen

We were visiting London and looking for a restaurant, not a pub atmosphere. The menu was interesting, the food delicious, and the ambience appropriate for the Westminster location near the Houses of Parliament and the Tate Britain. It was a very short walk from our hotel as a bonus.

great food and good service. we had a special starter for share sardines with lemon and brothcrumbs. it was well cooked and really delicious. for the main course we ordered brain cakes and baked artichokes with beans and plucked. they were before place finally, dessert menu, we ordered a dark chocolate terrarium with cries and cream fritch. we really love it. it was so delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and we will visit this place again.
