Shipley Golf Club - Speisekarte

This is a traditional golf club. Very friendly pro and new buggies with sat nav.A 7th hole is a fantastic par3. Make a par and you will love the hole but I guess any number is possible here.The green fee is a bit higher than some in the area but worth it. I would recommend you play here as it will test all aspects of your game.

My family and I went to Shipley Golf Club for a 90th birthday lunch. The three-course meal was fantastic. We started with soup, had roast for the main course with plenty of vegetables to share among the table, and enjoyed a tasty dessert to finish off the excellent celebration. The service was outstanding. It was an enjoyable occasion for all.

The function suite is spacious, light and spotlessly clean. Bar service is efficient and a wide range of drinks are on offer.The buffet food was of a very good standard and it was replenished regularly.All the staff are pleasant and we were made to feel very welcome. Sometimes golf clubs can be stuffy places and your presence as a non member, a bit of an inconvenience. This definitely does not apply hereHighly recommended. Speisekarte ansehen

I recently attended a gathering with friends at Shipley Golf Club. The club was beautifully decorated and the staff were very organized for the occasion. I would like to give a special shout out to the young man in charge (I think his name is Jamie) who went above and beyond to ensure that our event was memorable. He helped make the evening truly special! I would definitely consider hosting one of my own parties or functions at this venue in the future.

A very well designed course. An interesting number of par 3’s and 5’s. Sadly, all winter tees are off mats which is a bit of a shame. But there are plenty of interesting holes and greens. I’m looking forward to playing off the main tees to experience the benefit of the whole course. The members I came across in the clubhouse were somewhat frosty and there is a need to use key pads to access nearly every space which a little bit restrictive and unfriendly. But overall a course definitely worth playing again.

A group of 8 of us played this course last weekend, what a delight. We were made to feel extremely welcome by staff and members, they couldn't do enough for us. The course was in lovey condition, great sloping fairways, some lovey signature par 3's, a test for any handicap. A 2 course meal was included in our deal, homemade Steak and Ale Pie, chips, and Chocolate Brownies, it was delicious and served by very friendly staff. I would recommend visiting this course, we were a very mixed group, handicaps ranging from 10 to 36 and we all enjoyed playing it. A hidden gem. Speisekarte ansehen

I visited Shipley Golf Club on 20/03/19 after a funeral for food and drinks. When the buffet was opened I asked the chef Sean what food was vegan to suit my requirements, he was gratefully knowledgeable in what was vegan. As there was only the option of onion bhaji’s, Sean explained that he had not been told that there was anyone in the wake who was vegan, and that he would prepare me something “because it was important to him” that everyone was catered for. I was delighted when 10minutes later he emerged from the kitchen with three bowls filled with chips, vegetable rice and carrot salad: a very pleasant surprise when us vegans are normally met with hostility from non-chain restraunt chefs!...

Last night, we attended a wedding party at a club and were impressed by the well-maintained and beautiful location with a spacious car park and clear signs. Upon arrival, we were directed to unload our belongings by the helpful staff at reception. We were greeted by Ben, the head chef, who made us feel welcome and at home. The function room comfortably accommodated approximately 80 guests, with ample space for the band and convenient power and lighting provisions. The buffet, consisting of hot turkey sandwiches, gammon sandwiches, vegan burgers, roast potatoes, various salads, homemade coleslaw, and condiments, was served promptly at 8:30 pm by a team of efficient waiters. We were at the golf club yesterday for my daughters wedding ceremony and reception. I could not fault anything throughout the day. A totally perfect venue with the terrace area overlooking the course, very professional staff, superb food and very well organised. There were 75 people seated for the ceremony in the room attached to the main dining room. Whilst we were having the main reception meal, the ceremony room was converted to cater for the live band and dance floor in readiness for 120 people for the night do. The whole day passed as though the staff had done this on numerous occasions but I have had confirmation from my daughter that this was a first for the gold club to have the cere...
