"Ended up visiting twice. First visit was at lunchtime. Sunny day so sat outside. Greeted by waiter and served quickly. Drinks arrived promptly quickly followed by food. I ordered jacket potato with beans and cheese and my husband had jacket potato with coronation chicken. Very generous portions and both really delicious. Had coffee but too full to sample the lovely looking cakes. We were so impressed that we decided to return the following morning for cooked breakfast. I had medium breakfast and asked for no hash brown and husband had large breakfast. I was offered extra bacon or sausage to replace hash brown which I accepted and had extra slice of bacon. We both had a nice pot of tea each and food arrived promptly again. Beautifully cooked, everything fresh and again very generous portions. Place was quite busy for a very wet Friday morning and by about 10.30, was full think they were a lot of local people. I can see why this place is so popular. We also bought two slices of cake to take out with us (lemon drizzle and coffee walnut) which we ate when we got home to Mid Wales later that day, Highly recommend and will definitely return."
