I ordered food, but it never arrived. I tried calling the restaurant around 20 times, but they didn't answer or hung up on me. Terrible service. Avoid using this restaurant.

Absolutely delicious takeaway last night. Deliveroo appeared exactly on time. Fish was super fresh and everything was really hot and tasty. Great Good Friday treat during lockdown. Thank you.

I ordered a large cod and large chips. The cod turned out to be at best a medium I would have expected and the taste was not cod. At £9.60 it was not good value for money and I would not recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

This charming fish and chip restaurant in Southdown is a delightful find. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the menu offers a wide selection of delicious dishes. Plus, you get excellent value for your money here.

Smallest chip portion Ive ever been handed in near 50 years. So called 'large ' wasnt anywhere near a small from any other chippy. That with extremely dry saveloys and other foodstuffs from here, Id say avoid completely. The staff are ok, way too many of them behind the small counter though.

On my recent visit, I was told the fish would be ready in a few minutes. 15 minutes later, and with someone who ordered fish after me having been served before me, I received my fish and chips. They should just tell you how long you are really going to wait, and then you can decide if you want to wait. Very poor customer service. Speisekarte ansehen

Simply the best traditional, family run fish and chip shop in town. As Skippers is so popular, it can become very busy around meal times. Hence there is, on occasion, a little time to wait for your order. Either ordering via Justeat, over the phone, or over the counter, the friendly and pleasant staff are there to take your order.

Fab fish (regular) cod, chips (medium) and (homemade) mushy peas c.£10 Told to wait 7 mins on ordering as fried to order and service was still fast and efficient. Quality was top notch across the board. Pretty extensive range of other take out foods too including fried halloumi but what I had was really good. Many people going into the chippy ordered on the website and then collecting... seemed to work well. Open late 6 days too.
