You need to book online. However, we managed to get in on a cancellation, thanks to the staff member. The pool and staff were great. More than just a pool and worth a visit. Will definitely go again. Lovely session and friendly atmosphere.

Great time swimming, small pool but big fun. Not over crowded. Changing rooms very clean, cleaners in attendance after each session. Has disabled section with changing rooms, ramp access Has a lovely eating area, serving delicious food, good value for money.

Been going here for years. A sports complex with large indoor bowls rink (my forte) with a bar with food attached and restaurant upstairs. Food is cheap but very good as is the beer especially the mild which down south now is almost nonexistent. Worth a visit.

I have worked alongside the fantastic staff on several occasions at the South Forest Complex to decorate various weddings and events, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. It is always a pleasure to be a part of such a hard working and wonderful team :

Good place for taking the grandson swimming. Can't see the need for the restrictions to carry on though. Booking and 15 minutes to use the changing rooms is a bit unnecessary now. Beside that, the grandson loved it. Staff were very helpful and friendly too, a lovely atmosphere.

I've been attending this swimming pool for a few months now since moving to the area. I bring my two year old daughter with me. Every time we come we have a great time, the log flume is great fun and the children's pool is a good introduction to the water. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful, especially the Scottish one, apologies if I have got the accent wrong. The life guards always engage well with me when I ask them any questions etc. The only reason why I haven't given it a 5/5 is because the pools temperature isnt always consistently warm, however this is only a small criticism as we always have a great time.

I belong to a group that uses The Leisure Centre facilities regularly. We recently had our Christmas Lunch for the group in the function room. The group organised choices from three starters, three mains and three desserts. Out of 91 people who attended two had requested gluten free meals. One of us has been gluten free for four years and the other for four weeks. From past experience at other establishments we did not have high expectations on choice, flavour or quality as most places, while paying lip service to gluten free diets for Coeliacs and gluten intolerance, don’t really understand the necessity. Visited South Forest swimming pool 3 days ago whilst in the area visiting family as my 2 year old is swimming mad! Will not be going again... The changing rooms were filthy, I didn 't even put my 2 YO on the floor! Walked through to the pool and the foot bath didn 't even have any water in it. The pool in general was old and tired, full of rust and grime everywhere, the slide looks as if it 'll collapse at any minute.
