we ate here twice at our visit to burford. eating was amazing! the staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. I recommend you try this place. we're coming back!

We were staying at the Wysdom Touring Park just down the road, and we couldn't be bothered to cook one night. The Spice Lounge delivered some very tasty curries to us quickly at a good price. If this restaurant was near my home I would be a regular user.

Delicious food but cheeky pricing. Group of 4 was asked for starters after sitting down. We agreed for Papadams without realizing that each of us had to pay 2.50£ for this really simple and low cost starter. Also the 10% service charge on top is quite hefty.

This incredible restaurant offers freshly made, authentic Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. The food, service, and atmosphere were fantastic, and the attention to detail was remarkable. We will definitely return. Service: Sit-down dining Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50

yesterday evening, absolutely brilliant from beginning to end, service was great and eating was impeccable. because it was half like that, I had taken my children and the staff was very courteous and helpful with my restless children. I look forward to going back and would recommend this restaurant very much. many thanks for a great dinner and experience.

Average Indian food and expensive. Friendly staff but the chef needs to up his game. Cocktail snack sized samosas a naan that was like a chapatti, mains were OK but nothing great, starters that were pathetic and overpriced. I lived in Birmingham so I know what a proper curry is. Certainly not worth the £100 we spent. I would not recommend, be prepared to drive a few miles into Oxford.

Overall, the atmosphere was stressful and not very relaxing. One senior employee was very gruff with the younger employees in front of the customers and bossed them around. This had the effect that the younger staff also acted a bit stressed, even though they managed to stay very friendly, which we appreciated. The quality and the taste of the food was good, but the portions compared to the price were very small, e.g. 5£ for a small bowl of rice is not ok.

here many months ago, perhaps a decade, so rejoiceed to return anyway, but wow have to say that you have tikka naga must do there with the best Indians I have ever had. beautiful spice and oozing with taste with a fantastic mouth-coating texture only amazing. also the service was great, they had taken a special request on the booking request for knowledge and were extremely to deliver. very friendly, nothing too much annoyed. I won't leave it for ten years.
