Had a meal at spice of life for my birthday.fantastic restaurants would 100% recommended going if you're looking for a special Indian dining experience

This is the worst indian food we ever had. Do not go there. Simple dish were tasteless, rice was probably from days old and very oily. I felt sick after eating it. I have eaten indian food in India, Lahore restaurants in commercial road. By far the worst, do not trust their friend’s reviews

The food is halal and the chef is amazing. The quality of the food is consistently top class. The staff are friendly and offer fantastic ambience and service. We live locally and regularly order the chicken tikka dansak, which is the best we've ever had. The curries taste homemade and are good value. It fills up fast late evening, but we prefer to go early around 5 6pm when you can spread out and relax. Would definitely reccommend way better than many of the over priced Indian restaurants in nearby Blackheath.

Having ordered via justeat on numerous occasions decided stop in tonight. Had a lovely pistachio chicken and coconut rice a nice change from my usual chicken or prawn korma. The food and service were impeccable. The atmosphere was unfortunately ruined by a miserable grumpy couple complaining about the music and lights etc which were perfect acceptable to me and my partner

Really really impressesd with this place. It might seem a bit small on the outside but it's an utter hidden gem in Lewisham. Waiter was super on it. Attentive without being over bearing. Funny and also knowledgable. Food was great, very flavourful, especially the lamb and the bombay potato's, big portions so the £20 meal deal is incredible value for money, 10/10 would recommend Speisekarte ansehen

This Indian restaurant always deliver on perfection and taste, been many time when passing through Lewisham. They give good portion size and good amount of meat in the curry dishes. I had lamb Madras and the flavours were lovely, rich in taste and melted in my mouth. I often travel around London and visit many Indian restaurants and I must say the food here is amazing, give it a try.

We order food fairly regularly either home delivery or we walk and collect. It is always excellent quality with good flavours and portion size. If we ask for slight change in spicyness there is never a problem. The staff are friendly and very helpful, I always ask lots of questions about vegetarian options, and the meal is always perfect. I would highly recommend the restaurant. Always brilliant.

TAKEAWAY AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE Ordered via Uber website, accepted by Spice of Life. It arrived on time which was the only positive…. Food handed over having been ‘dropped’ by delivery driver. Order incorrect, cold and incomplete. Spice of Life contacted who refused any responsibility whatsoever. Not interested at all in resolving the issue of incorrect order or food damaged/spilled by being dropped. When contacted (twice), they were dismissive, argumentative and aggressive. Apparently, it’s an ‘Uber’ problem, although our payment went to Spice of Life… We’ll put it down to experience.
