Delicious fish, highly recommend the halibut, generous portions at a reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff will definitely return next time we are in Cleethorpes.

The home cooked food at this restaurant is incredible, as is the friendly and efficient service. I had a fantastic evening enjoying the traditional, generous, and delicious desserts. I highly recommend this restaurant.

after a short waiting period we were accompanied to a first floor window seat. the staff was very busy, perhaps briefly busy and we had a waiting time for the order and our drink order again. when eating finally came, it was a great part of haddock and chips that was worth waiting.

Today, we enjoyed lunch at the restaurant based on a high recommendation. We were not let down in the slightest. Tracey provided excellent service with a smile, truly a standout. She was accommodating and the food was outstanding. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality. Overall, a top-notch experience.

This was our first visit to Steels restaurant in Cleethorpes and we would definitely recommend it! Its an old fashioned (in the nice sense if the word , traditional fish and chip restaurant serving dishes such as fish and chips, steak pie and chips, traditional puddings (if you have room for one! . Both my husband and I had the haddock and chips and it was delicious! Very fresh, nice tasty batter and very good mushy peas. Served with bread and butter and a pot of tea. What's not to like! The staff were very friendly and menu was reasonably priced.

only back from the beautiful spring day in meggies. had not booked, but quickly sorted a good table. we were done. three different squids: small to jumbo all excellent and freshly roasted, like the chips. in contrast to some reviews, are muded peas...nie dosen, and garden inherited are always tinted or frozen, and fish is delivered fresh daily. the decor has not changed much, but I would say it is good, a nice time warp. I came for years and never had a bad meal. cant' help listening to other customers in a full restaurant and all comments were very free.

I had a wonderful lunch with friends while visiting a different city. They had brought me to this restaurant before during the pandemic, but we wanted to enjoy a dining experience this time. The menu was diverse with options for both large and small portions. I decided to order the fish and chips, which came with a generous side of mushy peas. Normally our way to papas is sorry but at this time I thought I would steal a try when I heard good things. we went to take in and the personal was beautiful and welcoming and could not be more helpful when. they tried to wait our meal waiting outside, as it was nice and sunny and about ten minutes later they brought us out, including sweet sauces and other peculiarities, a very nice note! as I said, we are used for papas that are known to be their big and I. now I ordered a large fish and chips and with no medium compares it with papas, but the taste and quality was second.
