Small restaurant on a quiet side street, close to the Museum Quarter. Outstanding food, reasonable price, friendly proprietor. Best Italian we have had in a very long time.

Wunderbare Pasta!! Ich kann Stella Marina jedem empfehlen, der authentische italienische Küche in Wien sucht. Der Koch ist unglaublich talentiert. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder vorbeischauen.

Very nice small and cozy italian restaurant near Mariahilfenstrasse. Owner was real italian gentleman cooking and serving excellent lunch to us. My wife got pasta with mushrooms and I black pasta better than we remember ever had before, even visiting Italy. Speisekarte ansehen

Ich war SO begeistert, dieses Restaurant während meines kürzlichen Aufenthalts in Wien zu finden. Die Person, die mich bedient hat (von der ich auch denke, dass sie das Essen gekocht hat), bereitete mir ein spezielles Gericht zu, das genau auf meine Wünsche abgestimmt war... Es war köstlich!

An exquisite Italian dining experience at this restaurant where the owner provides you with personalised and intimate dining experience with typical Italian charm.A genuinely likable restaurateur who makes his own pasta and cooks each meal with fresh ingredients and passion.Only 4-5 tables per night the door will be locked so knock and be patient, wait for him to see you and let you in.

i travelled a lot around the world and in Italy too. I must say that this was one of the best pasta I had for years. It is an ingredient cooking with excellent Puglia wine.My wife and I had pasta with fungi and Nera spaghetti with scampi. Both were outstanding. I will probably come back before we leave Vienna. This restaurant is worth a visit. Don't be in a rush, the waiter is also the cook. So you have to be patient, but the wait is worth the time.I recommend warmly Speisekarte ansehen

Absolutely delicious pasta meal. I had linguini with a tomato based sauce and slices of chicken breast. The sauce had parmesan cheese, a slight bit of garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil and tomatoes. The combination made for a great flavour. That sauce on top of the their hand made pasta made for a delicious meal. The person I was with had the linguini with a pecorino cheese sauce and he was also very happy with his meal as well. Two pasta dishes, two glasses of red wine and a mineral water came to 37 Euro. Money well spent. Interior of the restaurant is casual and rustic Italian. Brick and stucco walls came down to a brick floor. Very comfortable.

Well I have to say I totally agree with all the other reviewers who have given this restaurant five stars. The food is superb. Yes the menu is limited but, after our first meal there, my husband stated that it was the best pasta meal he had ever had. The owner - who indeed does everything - was perfectly charming to us. All in all, we enjoyed our meal so much that we returned on our final evening in Vienna. Yes, we were the only people in the restaurant and you do have to wait a little while for your food (because it is being prepared on the spot) but that didn't matter. We had another lovely meal. We wanted a good plate of pasta after all the Viennese food, and we wanted it close to Mariahilferstrasse as we were shopping there. And Stella Marina came up in the search and we tried it out. And it turned out to be a fantastic choice! It was rather like a ritual from beginning to end. After the freezing cold outside you go into this calm, warm, cosy place, with rustic bricks, candlesticks, and, so welcome, Pavarotti or Bocelli singing Christmas carols in the background, the volume low enough to have good conversation.The owner / patron comes out of the kitchen and calmly welcomes you and asks you to take a seat at the table.
