Used to order from here frequently however, when I recently placed an order and wanted to pay by card like I usually do I was informed they do not accept card payments from phone orders and never have. During my time in Scotland, I enjoy indulging in traditional cuisine, so I was delighted to discover a fantastic fish supper. I highly recommend trying it out. The take-out service was efficient, making it a great option for dinner. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20. Placed an order, waited over an hour and a half for delivery. Phoned shop and told me they would cancel my order, no refund given, tried speaking to them on the phone but was told I had to contact their website support to get my refund. Tried calling, was on hold for 30 mins, told refund would be processed not never received my money back. Their loss as I was a regular customer but won't use again Service: 1

The vegetable kebab is excellent. Generally, the vegan/vegetarian options at your typical chippy are limited and often only consist of a heated-up processed veggie burger, out of the freezer. Therefore, I was a little dubious about what I was going to get. The kebab far exceeded my expectations and is probably the best dish I have had from a chippy. The chips were pretty good, too. I’ve been a customer at Marmaris since it opened years ago and it has always been the most reasonably priced and one of the best takeaways in the Haddington area. Unfortunately their prices have rocketed recently and the quality has dropped. The cost of my order for two chicken kebabs and a small portion of chips increased by over £4.00 in the space of a week! The quality of the chips was rather poor and the box was only 3/4 filled anyway. The salad with the kebabs was not up to the usual standards either.
