Excellent food, and the waitrose was really friendly and took the time to explain each steak to us in English. Was pricey but would not hesitate to go again

This is the place for meat, I love it, the meat of very good quality is accompanied by delicious vegetables. The waiter is super nice, I'm sure recommending it.

Great spot randomly located here!! Bbq-style (smoked/wood oven perhaps) meat, a little bit from everywhere (or so it seems), & less-typical sides being paired with. Very Spanish-inspired. Would recommend to anyone who has got a definitely red meat craving :) Très bon.

Very good selection of steaks. Tried a couple of them. The grain fed was in my view the best. The top side with fat melted over the top was not so great as it was tough and very dense. Good starters of mussels and good wine list. Great service but poor air conditioning (during a Paris heatwave). Well worth a visit but not cheap

I had never been Paris before, I went for my husbands birthday and decided on this restaurant. It was great and I was so happy with my choice. The menu is in French but the waitresses helped with translating and recommended dishes. The meat was extremely tender and melted in your mouth. Only criticism was they did not give you enough sauce so we had ask for more a few times (but this is down to our personal choice) most certainly recommend this restaurant if you have something special to celebrate. They also presented my husband with a macaroon with a candle without any prompt from myself, they had over heard our conversation of birthdays. Great experience!

We chose this restaurant after reading all the good reviews on TripAdvisor and I must say they weren't wrong.As mentioned in other reviews the menu is in French!! We had an excellent waiter in Stephane as he was so helpful. Stephane translated the menu into English for us and even went as far as googling pictures to help with his descriptions. We chose from the set menu 2 course for €35 Euros. I have to say for a set menu there was a lot to choose from and there is something there for everyone. This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in Paris. My plan had been to go to the New Years 2017 extravaganza on the Champ d'elysees. However, it was in the 20's and I decided that was going to be too cold. Of course, finding a good restaurant at this late date took a bit of searching on The Fork app, but came up with Sur la Braise.The set menu was of good variety and had a wine pairing for an additional 35€. The whole meal was delicious, but the standouts were the fois gras and the chocolate cake. The fois gratis was buttery, creamy and melt in your mouth goodness. The main dining room is located on the back, while the bar and few tables are available in the front.
