"Great restaurant! We had a stay in Compéta and we came across this absolutely great restaurant. The service is perfect, the waiters are friendly and smiling. We ate their simply excellent homemade desserts. Their dishes are local, fresh and the quantities are large. The price-performance ratio is great. I tasted their sangria, which was excellent. We have returned to this restaurant several times and will happily return."

"El restaurante es precioso y las vistas espectaculares. La comida buenísima Pero el servicio super pésimo. Lástima que esto estropeara la cena. Nos atendió un muchacho de unos cuarenta y algo de años con gafitas que no sé si seria su primer dia o lo habian cambiado ese dia de lavar platos. Pero su atención con nuestra mesa brilló por su ausencia. Ni siquiera tuvo el detalle de dar las buenas noches y en varias ocasiones le pedimos bebidas y tuvimos que optar por llamar a otro camarero porque se vé que no lo apuntaría y se le olvidaba. La vez anterior que estuvimos allí nos sirvió una chica joven y un muchacho con barbitas y nada que ver... Siento decir que en esta última visita salimos bastante decepcionados por culpa del servicio tan pésimo que nos dieron. Ni siquiera les dejé propina algo a los que acostumbro hacer, lo siento pero no la ocasión no lo mereció"

"It is the first time we come to town, we came across this inn that is at the entrance of the town. It has parking and a square right in front so the little ones can play. The service is great, the waitress Jenni is very nice and kind. The food is incredible, highlighting the grilled chop, the Russian salad and the cheesecake, great value for money. Very large dishes with exquisite flavor, every bite melts in your mouth. Wheelchair accessibility: Access to the restaurant with ramp. Spacious bathroom with grab bars on both sides."

"visit if you are near frigid, nerja, maro, etc. the inbound route a little tortuous. I pray to those who are dizzy! but what access is not a drawback, why the enclave is worth more! restaurant the acebuchal has typical products of the cooked land with wait and affection, and the result is noted. the history of the village is beautiful! the bread of the day is a turmeric bread and squid ink (ES-PEC-TA-CU-LAR), which is wet in the oil that serves is a true delight! we have also ordered a bit of thorn chrome and cheese, but the star dish was the cooked dairy pallet at low temperature! the photos speak only for themselves! and the required quality of the local cheese!"

"Cansados de callejear por las empinadas y serpenteantes callejuelas de Canillas de Albaida, decidimos hacer un descanso y entrar a comer en el Restaurante La Plaza, situado en la plaza central del pueblo. El edificio se compone de restaurante (con dos salones interiores) y una “Posada” hotel rural de 2 estrellas. Además, tiene una agradable terraza sobre la Plaza del Rosario. En su carta encontrarás una cocina casera y de mercado, con productos típicos de la tierra, y variedad de sabores mediterráneos y árabes. No dejes de probar sus especialidades: morcilla de cebolla con miel de caña, queso al horno rebozado en almendras, pata de chivo, pinchos morunos, cordero a la miel, guisos de caza (jabalí, perdiz o codorniz), y potaje de hinojos. Además, estando en Canillas de Albaida es obligatorio degustar sus vinos moscatel, seco, semiseco y dulce, elaborados con uvas pasas locales (el pueblo forma parte de la Ruta del Sol y del Vino de la comarca de la Axarquía)."
