The waiter was very helpful and tried hard to tell us about the different dishes. The food was tasty and good portion size. A very enjoyable meal.

Wonderful meal, very helpful staff, lovely setting, would recommend to anyone, lots of choice for food and drink, even more choice with the daily specials!

The restaurant is located on a beautiful market square very close to the cathedral. The food and service were great. The sunny outdoor space is a nice bonus. I would go back. Speisekarte ansehen

Although the welcome was good and the staff perfectly charming the food was not special. We chose a mixed salad which was fairly indifferent and the dressing tasted like a well known bought bottle. I felt I could have produced a better one myself. There are much better places to eat in Chartres

We had dinner last month while we were in Chartres for 1 night. The restaurant looked very nice. The food and service are average. We had duck with pepper sauce. Not a great combination if you ask me. Only one kind of red wine.... no not the best dinner we had this holiday. Too expensive for the quality.

Lovely location in market square, with lots of outdoor seating. Great food and very efficient and friendly service. Fabulous scallop appetizer. Spouse enjoyed fish main course but I made wrong choice - kidney brochette too undercooked for my taste. Noteithstanding the latter comment, would not hesitate to go back. Speisekarte ansehen

We stumbled on this restaurant having been turned away from another that was full and many that were not open. The staff were very helpful in translating our poor French. The portions were good with well cooked fresh ingredients. I would recommend the skate wing which was the fish of the day served with rice. We had a very pleasant and well priced meal in comfortable surroundings.

The restaurant was well maintained and nicely decorated for Christmas. The welcome and service were superb, and most importantly the food was excellent. My wife had veal kidneys, I had a fish and seafood dish. The table next to us had steak tartare and hamburger (which looked home made) and both of them looked good too. The meals, including 1 coffee and 1 fizzy water were around 50 Euros.

Charming outdoor dining overlooking the twice weekly market place. We had lunch and met an older gentleman who dined there on a regular basis. He suggested the lamb chops (cooked perfectly) and vegetable brochette. Our waitress was a marvel. Attentive to all, all while slammed at lunch time. I think we were the only tourist types in the place. Always a good sign. Dessert was amazing. Fresh raspberries, layered in the thickest creme I've ever eaten.If you're disappointed, you should just stop eating. Speisekarte ansehen
