Taverna Bleu - Speisekarte

After sitting on the rear garden patron and having a drink we decided to move on. The aspect you pay for in the price for sure, 5euros for a Coke!

A perfect lakeside location by the ferry quay. My son and his new wife arranged a small reception at Taverna Bleu. The chefs did us proud with a selection of cold meats a excellent pizzas. It was just the right balance for the occasion. Very pleasant staff at the Michelin starred Taverna

We had dinner here, wasn’t impressed by the food. We had kingshrimps which was pretty good, but the salad on the side was nothing to brag about. Also bread on the side was dry and chewy. Breakfast is good though, fresh bread and few but good cuts of ham, salami and cheese. Friendly staff, good service. Breakfast for 9 €, totally wprth it. Wow, the first day I sat out on the beautiful gravel outdoor patio, my heart was so happy and my mind was so serene that I think I solved all my life problems in a half hour. The place is gorgeous, with the ripples of the lake cleansing and caressing my soul. The view is heavenly, I could stay here forever! Thank you Gabrielle, so nice to meet you! Thank you staff! Cozy, GREAT food and place. Can't wait to come back.

Excellent location right in the centre of lake Como with a sweeping view of the lake from the terrace of our room. The room itself was spacious as was the bathroom. Buffet breakfast was provided and they also had a nice restaurant. There was a ferry service available close by to the hotel but not very frequent easiest to drive to mennagio for a more frequent service. The only cons were the lack of a kettle and tea or coffee in the room as well as the lack of a cooler or fan as it was quite warm in June, probably hotter in peak tourist months. Otherwise pretty good.

We did not stay at the hotel, but had lunch at the Ristorante. The food was exceptional, but we were particularly impressed by the wonderful service. We arrived unannounced, hungry and with no booking ..long story... and just after the kitchen was closed kitchen/serving staff were leaving. Nevertheless we were made very welcome on the outside terrace overlooking Lake Como. Food was delicious, service was brilliant a wonderful experience and strongly recommended as a lunch destination. Oh... and it is located right alongside Navigazione Lago di Como's small ferry terminal of Sala Comacina a great way to get there. Speisekarte ansehen

The place looked beautiful and conveniently located next to the boarding dock on the lake. Decided to sit down and order coffee only to be rudely asked to leave immediately by an incredibly aggressive owner. Any decency to the following exchange was immediately lost, despite the fact we had left the property, as he started to use Italian swear words, repeatedly giving the middle finger while screaming, all while others were watching in complete shock. We will take the appropriate consequences to deal with this, including the physical roughing up by the restaurant owner, but in the meantime wish to warn other travelers to stay away from this place at all costs. I stayed for two nights in this very pleasant lake-front hotel. My room was very large and the bed was comfortable. It doesn’t have air-conditioning and I found the fan insufficient to cool me down in the afternoon but I was unwell and wouldn’t normally have been in at that time. The view from the window was breath-taking and I loved watching the sunrise both mornings over the lake. It’s a great little spot to sit and watch Lake Como wake up and begin its day, and there are several nice walks around the hotel. The day we travelled to this hotel it did not start of well so from travelling from 08.30 and arriving at 13.40 it had been exhausting as we had only travelled from Lecco , which is on the other side of the lake . Any way by the time we carted our luggage down the step entrance and over the gravel to the doors of Taverna Bleu we were greeted by a young man dressed smart with a lovely smile , he instantly took our luggage and straight up to our room whilst we checked in . The young lady was lovely and checked us in swiftly , now as l say it was 13.40 we asked about lunch as the last time we had eaten was 07.30hrs in our previous hotel .
