"Me and my husband decided last minute to have dinner out. Very quiet when we arrived at 6pm, perhaps three other tables occupied. Not a great deal of choice on the menu. Despite not many being in we still waited over half an hour for our order. Didn’t mind at the time as we thought it better to wait for fresh cooked food. We both had gammon. Very basic, no side salad. It came with rock hard peas, the chips I’m sure had been either reheated or were overcooked. There were two small mushrooms and a quarter of a grilled tomato. The gammon itself was really poor quality. The two eggs were cooked well. Don’t usually manage a dessert but we felt we needed one to fill up on. These were over priced and very few to choose from. Won’t return again."

Had a lovely meal. Service was good but a little slow due to the number of people in the place, and it got busy as the evening progressed.

Awful experience at the bottomless brunch today, the OWNER completely ruined the atmosphere, truly terrible hospitality, will never visit this place again.

Went here for mother's day. Carvery was spot on choice of beef turkey pork or gammon not shy when carving homemade yorkies and good choice of veg would go again.

The Sunday Carvery was fantastic! The meat was served to you and all the extras were self-service. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. I highly recommend it for a Sunday lunch out with the family.

The food was excellent. My partner ordered the carvery and made sure to finish every last bite, while I chose the Hunters Chicken from the menu - everything was delicious and fresh! The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning.

We went here for my mum's 65th birthday. A party of 6 adults and 1 child. A very Warm welcome. Clean and tidy. Brilliant choices on the menu. I had the cottage pie with seasoned veg and it was to die for. Delicious. Would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends. Well done all.

This restaurant is a wonderful place for food! I have been there many times and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, even when the place is busy. They work hard to make sure their customers are served quickly and with care, so there are never long wait times.

We just want to thank our venue for the evening of our wedding. They made our night unforgettable! Julie and all the staff at Tayleur Arms were incredible. All of our guests were blown away with the hot buffet and the hospitality that they provided all night. Everything was sorted and ready for us when we arrived and we instantly felt at ease knowing our night was going to be perfect. We stayed the night in their lodge which was very comfortable and had a beautiful breakfast cooked for us in the morning. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Thank you so much to all the staff

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
