We had a lovely lunch very tasty meatball pizza and a glass of bubbly. Great service and a lovely place to eat. We will go again !

Lovely food, cooked to order. Staff were very friendly and as it is inside a garden centre, we were very impressed by the quality and standard of the menu.

A little haven of peace amongst the bustle of the garden centre. Very polite and pleasant staff. Food and drinks are always good and there is table service. Would be good if there were some lighter options available.

Visited here with wife Glenys, Daughter Jennifer and granddaughter Lucy just after Christmas for lunch. The menu was reasonable, food reasonable and service reasonable. Nothing really stood out about it but I would visit again.

Lovely atmosphere and seating arrangement. Nice place to come with family. The menu looks and sounds great, just wish the food had a bit more flavour. Ofcourse that’s personal preference, but all 6 of us agreed there was a general lack of flavour. Perhaps just a bit more garlic, salt and spices and these dishes could be lifted up! So nearly there, all the ingredients are great. Very lovely service

We waited over 35 minutes for the food to arrive after we had ordered. We had Calamari as a starter and it was without doubt the worst we have ever had, large pieces of squid tempura, completely tasteless and rather rubbery. They did knock it off the bill however. The other starter was Insalata Caprese, tomato sliced with very ordinary mozzarella and topped with pea shoots, which at £4.99 a portion was definitely not good value for money. Needless to say I don’t think we’ll be returning any time soon.

Lunched here 1240 14/02/23. Good table and atmosphere. Ordered bacon and mushroom risotto and seafood bolognaise. Both very good and hot. Also ordered side dish of bread and mixed olives; again good. Coffee luke warm as usual. Told the waitress and as usual nothing happened. She was busy and forgot us. Only major gripe; ordered food 1245 and food arrived 1328. Everyone treated the same, service just slow here. Lack of staff? Generally good but could be truly first class with a little more effort. Will we eat here again? Yes.

Arrived lunchtime today and initially looked at the menu next door but did not see anything we fancied and the queue to order looked too busy. Went into the Italian Restaurant and very impressed with the menu and could see the Chef working hard in the pizza ovens and on the stove. We ordered the Carbonara with Chicken and pancetta and penne pollo poseco not sure of pronunciation)and both meals were delicious and the best Italian meals we had ever had. We had great service and 10 per cent discount with out Trentham garden membership cards. Can't wait to go again. The chef Victor is amazing and a pleasure to watch him working. Altogether a lovely meal and lovely service. Thank you x P

I was looking forward to visiting for the lunch menu, but upon arriving was told that the festive lunch menu was in operation and not the usual. I am aware of the time of year, but there should be clear advertisements on the website to advise that there is only the festive menu (looked absolutely rubbish! available. If only I could charge this pathetic establishment for the money it took for me to travel here specially. A really poor show. Could easily do better for a so called restaurant. I'd advise anyone to go to the lovely farm shop in the shopping village, get a nice lasagne for £7 for two from the frozen aisle and do it in the comfort of your own home.
