I wanted to try something new and had heard great reviews, so I decided to give this restaurant a chance. The food was amazing! We ordered the Hyderabadi biryani and Kathmandu lamb with a peshwari naan, and both dishes were excellent. The service was also incredibly friendly. My only regret is that I hadn't tried this place sooner!

Unbelievably good food. Also appreciated the calm lighting. In addition to things being delicious and the menu having a great spread of flavour, things were plated beautifully and courses brought out with great timing. This restaurant in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole is my favorite. The food is outstanding, a delight for your taste buds. The combination of flavors is amazing. The strawberry and onion dressing for popadoms is absolutely delicious. The customer service is excellent, with friendly and polite staff. I have visited this restaurant a few times and always enjoyed the food. However, when I went with friends last Friday for a special birthday meal that I had booked online, I was disappointed. The restaurant was very busy and had squeezed in too many people. While it was physically possible to fit everyone in, it made for a crowded and uncomfortable dining experience. The tables were so close together that I had to squeeze into my seat sideways, and I even saw a guest being asked to move so a waiter could reach another table. Wow!! The food here is simply delicious. We’ve eaten a lot of curry in our time and both myself and my partner stated this might be the best. The chicken was so tender and not dry in the slightest, the onion bhajis had the perfect crisp and spice, and the naan bread was so fluffy and warm. Plus the prices are so reasonable! The staff are lovely and really care about the restaurant and diners, Sushant was our waiter and took great care of us all evening. We dined on the first Saturday of the Ashley Cross restaurant’s opening week and the atmosphere was great, the place was buzzing and we heard multiple tables complement how lovely the food was. We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and surprisingly were able to find a table for two. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was fantastic (we only ordered main dishes). The service was attentive and personal, and the restaurant was clean and showed great attention to detail. The staff even fixed our wobbly table without us having to ask, and one member helped me tuck my bag under the table. We ordered a chicken and lamb dish, both of which had delicious flavors and were accompanied by tasty potatoes and rice. The plates were warm and the napkins were clean.
