Came in 29th December as a group of 3-we all decided on the chef’s special chicken dish-we all thoroughly enjoyed it and would order it again when we next visit

the personal could not be more helpful from beginning to end. we asked for a private table because of nabby that chemo went through, and they ensured that no other tables were close to us. eating was hot and delicious, so thank you

the restaurant newbury college is a training place for students in the year of restaurant and catering studies. the quality and service levels are remarkably high. they offer a limited number of courses that change through the year,...and appreciate feedback from customers. best for groups to book,

Five of us came to celebrate a friend's special birthday at this restaurant. The meal was excellent and the service was top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, with each course being delicious. I highly recommend this place. Thanks to the hardworking students and the lady supervisor, who was also very good.

I was unsure of what to expect for lunch at my local college, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent, the seats were comfy, and the tables were perfectly set with high-quality food at affordable prices. I enjoyed the hot salmon and asparagus salad, crispy cod with samphire, and the orange tart - all delicious choices! Well done to all the students for providing a first-class dining experience. I was not sure what I should expect in my local college for lunch, I thought it could be like eating in the old refektur, but nothing else would have been of the truth! excellent service, nice comfortable sitting and perfectly laid tables with restaurant quality eating. to refection prices! I had the hot salmon and spasm salad, crispy cadjau with saphir followed by the oranger and I would recommend them all! first class, well done to all students!

We’ve been here quite a few times noticed it has dramatically gone downhill food quality wise. We also attended here for our Christmas dinner as we have done in the past, this time the food was almost inedible from flavours down to how it...was cooked. I don’t think a single family member finished their plate on Christmas Day, which is a shame considering it is almost £50 per head. We have noticed the food quality isn’t the same as it used to be which is a great shame as this used to be a lovely place to eat as the staff are so lovely the atmosphere is always welcoming which it still is just poor quality food.

I recently visited the restaurant at Newbury College after hearing about it from a client. I didn't have high expectations since the dishes and service are provided by students who are still learning. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the professional and friendly staff, as well as the delicious and beautifully presented food. The quality of the meal easily rivals that of top restaurants at a fraction of the price. I highly recommend giving it a try, as it also supports local young people by providing them with real-life work experience.
