"I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant and finally took my significant other for lunch. We had a reservation but were offered different seating when we arrived, which was great. The staff gave us a lovely warm welcome and the service throughout our meal was excellent. We each had a starter and a main course, and we were both very impressed with the presentation and taste of the dishes. The menu had a great variety to suit all tastes, the restaurant was very clean, and had a fantastic atmosphere. This was probably the best meal we've had at a pub in the past 6-12 months. To top it all off, the cost was much lower than we had expected. I will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone."

Such a great community pub. Excellent range of cask ales and keg beers. Superb food and friendly service. Owned by the local village community who raised the money to buy it from the brewery in early 2020. Regularly changing range of beers. Speisekarte ansehen

Great refurbishment of a run down pub now owned by the community. Lovely atmosphere, good food, great hosts. We would like to visit more often but huge popularity means you need to book well in advance, hopefully kitchen extension may solve this.

The restaurant has a spacious and tastefully decorated interior, a lovely garden and lounge area, and offers a wide selection of well-maintained beers, including Nottingham Brewery ales. Although we did not dine there, the menu looked appealing and many dishes were being carried out of the kitchen.

The service at this restaurant was excellent, with very friendly staff. My meal, the salmon, was exceptional. Our group of 8, including 2 children, were all very pleased with our meals. My husband and I dined at this restaurant last night to celebrate our anniversary, after receiving many recommendations from friends, and we were not let down! I ordered the vegetarian lasagna which was delicious, and my husband had a steak which he thoroughly enjoyed. The menu had a good variety of options. Both dishes were beautifully presented and reasonably priced. The ambiance was inviting and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful evening and delicious food.

I had lunch today for the first time with a group of nine others. We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. The landlady has a strong and proactive personality that I really enjoyed, as she clearly has a passion for her pub and her work. She works very hard to create a beautiful environment. The food selection was excellent and our meal was delicious. My roast beef was cooked perfectly with tasty gravy, a large Yorkshire pudding, and perfectly cooked vegetables. The carrot soup was fantastic, as was the apple crumble pudding. I would definitely visit again and based on today's experience, I would give the restaurant a full five stars.
