"we visited the barley mow for the first time yesterday after an event in silverstone. I spent an hour earlier in the week reading web pages on all local pubs/restaurants and none of them felt right, they were all either too expensive, not right for unusual diets, had no kids menu, were more interest in sky sports than a cozy atmosphere, etc! once I looked at the barley mow website, I knew it was the right place for us and they didn't disappoint! we were a party of 5, including a fussy 8 yr old and my mother in law, which has a lot of dietary requirements. the restaurant is wonderful, cozy, rustic, clean, spacious and the food was absolutely delicious. once the personal discovered my mother in the law was gluten intolerant, they really looked around her and adapted all the asspects of her meal so that she could eat everything, she was very impressed as she rarely finds great service like this. the staff was very friendly and very helpful and created a beautiful atmosphere. we were very impressed and really enjoyed our visit, which we cannot recommend this place very good enough!"
