"I visited yesterday and had the mushrooms on sourdough, which were delicious, hot, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. However, my partner found his ham, egg, and chips to be quite unsatisfactory. I must admit, it didn't look appealing at all. His eggs were overcooked, the ham was only warm, and the portion size was on the small side. He didn't want to complain since we were with family and prefers not to make a fuss, but later he regretted not speaking up. We dined here last year, and he had the ham, egg, and chips then, which he found much better. My cousin ordered the loaded fries, which looked amazing, but it was disappointing that they only offered it with bacon and chicken. I believe Alder Carr is missing an opportunity here; I'm sure non-meat eaters would appreciate a vegetarian option if it were available."

£10.50 for a sausage sandwich! 2 slices of bread, a sliced sausage, a handful of crisps and a spoonful of salad leaves. Do we have inflation in the UK?!

Visited Alder Carr Farm for the first time last week. Enjoyed a club sandwich with chips in the cafe with my son and friend. Great meeting point with good facilities.

we had a fabulous 50th birthday party here. the food was worthy of a first class restaurants and also the service was. if they are looking for an intimate place in a beautiful shade, then they have found the right place and the really great news. it is very good

I had a disappointing experience with the breakfast at this restaurant. The eggs were cold, greasy, and overcooked, while the only piece of bacon I received tasted like it had been prepared ages ago. The sausages were undercooked as well. Although the young waitress was friendly, she only inquired about my meal when she came to clear the plates, which felt a bit lacking in attentiveness. I noticed the staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other than checking in on customers. I won't be coming back; they offered a discount on my unsatisfactory breakfast, bringing it down to £14.50, but I'm unsure how much of a discount that actually was. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experie...
