Lovely pub, atmosphere and staff. Daily specials on food, smallish garden area, but very cosy.

Having travelled from Surrey ,we had a delicious Cromer crab salad in The Highwayman: super food, ambience and very agreeable and knowledgeable staff. We will go back today.Thank you

I attended the recent Ukrainian Independence Day event, where I enjoyed a three-course meal paired with a bottle of wine. As always, David welcomed us warmly. It was a delightful oasis of relaxation along the A140. Thank you! Speisekarte ansehen

This is an excellent restaurant with a lovely indoor area and a beautiful garden for dining. There are many personal touches that make it special. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are very courteous and friendly. I will definitely return. I give it a 10 out of 10!

Called in after missing planned stop earlier in journey. Friendly welcome, calm relaxed atmosphere, one of those places that makes you feel wanted, appreciated and cared for. they are here twice for lunch and both times were amazing the pub, decoration and atmosphere is perfect, they can lose the hours talking. not like other restaurants where they want to go as soon as they have eaten, eating is really boiled eating and they can say that preparing every aspekts of the top of high quality meat to seasonal vegetables, all cooked to perfection. the staff and service are very friendly and go beyond and beyond to ensure that they remain satisfied the good work, I look forward to the next time

Excellent food and well priced. All staff and owners welcoming and very helpful. Taken through to the dining area once our dinner was ready. Enjoyed my rib-eye stek which was cooked exactly as I asked. Had 2 pints of their excellent cider (not driving). For most customers arrival by motorised transport is most likely as it is located away from settlements but conveniently on an A-class road and about 10 miles from Ipswich. Not a huge menu but I like that as you won't spend too long choosing. That said there is something for pretty much all dining tastes. Simple test...Would I go back to dine again? If I was in the area I'd go back in a heartbeat!

I just returned from a trip to the south with my friend, and I was really hungry. We spotted a sign for the Highwayman Pub, marked with a knife and fork symbol, and decided to check it out. It was around 8:30 PM, and to our surprise, they were happy to serve us at that hour. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome, which I can't emphasize enough, especially since none of us had been there before. I had a fantastic steak, while my friend’s mother enjoyed a burger that she rated very highly. The portion sizes were generous, especially with the chips, and the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, making it quite comfortable. I highly recommend this place! Speisekarte ansehen
