Great family run pub restaurant, friendly staff great food. Sunday carvery is particularly excellent, 100% recommend

Attended on a Sunday for the carvery, the meat was tasty and well cooked, though the vegetables seemed to be some what under cooked. I would attend again without rushing back

Went for a take out Sunday lunch as we had been busy all day. Good choices and plenty of everything. Beef was very tender. Staff very friendly. 1st time we have had a takeaway lunch from there but it won't be the last Speisekarte ansehen

Excellent carvery at a reasonable price £12) on Sunday lunchtime. Two generous slices from a choice of four very tender joints, plus the usual self-service vegetables. Rather lacking in atmosphere, hence only 4 stars.

Fantastic food and drinks, Ash was by far the best staff in here! Nothing was to much effort even when he clocked off he still provided top service and gave us all a free shot! Well done guys we will definitely be calling again.

Pre ordered vegan Sunday dinner and was very impressed, the mediterranean tart was lovely and fresh veg was prepared separately which was by far the best I've had in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas in terms of effort and value for money. Delicious! Speisekarte ansehen

Carvery excellent as always, we visit most Sundays and the service seems to be much better this year. Claire and Beth who are front of house are attentive and friendly great customer service every time. The food as always is fantastic and the best carvery I’ve experienced this far, can’t say enough good things about the staff and the Sunday food for 2023.

Great food! Amazing staff, very friendly and welcoming. Edited: me and my family revisited on two occasions since opening inside. We sat down for a meal in the restaurant area and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the timing was perfect, It didnt feel like we waited at all really. Also very well spaced. The second time I visited was in the bar. Great atmosphere. Pool table, darts board and live sports, up to two channels at a time, 4 small screens and 1 big. The landlord has told me there is 2 more screens in the beer garden, I did not venture out as for the weather conditions. Highly recommend a visit for yourselves.

Met by lovely waiting and bar staff, very helpful and engaging. Had a Sunday carvery the server was most pleasant and served generous portions of meat. Garlic and Rosemary crispy roast potatoes, roast carrots and parsnips a choice of vegan/gluten free gravy or, meaty jus to smother your dinner with. Vegetables were al-dente not mush like you would ordinarily find in a carvery. The decor may be off putting from the outside but the food and staff makes this a 4 star.
