Lovely setting by the River Thames, good choice of local beers, attentive and pleasant staff in laid back atmosphere with nice food

Back once again for our Christmas work lunch. Just as good as before. Food was excellent and the service was brilliant. Happy Christmas.

Decent Sunday roast: beef cooked nicely rare, crispy roast potatoes, tasty gravy. Had to order at bar, took a while but was friendly enough service. Speisekarte ansehen

This is the best pub in the region! We live close by and it is our favorite spot in the area. The location by the river is stunning, the atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, the staff is incredibly attentive, and the food is consistently delicious.

We came to this restaurant for dinner on our last stay in Chiswick. Chiswick is very handy off the M4 and easy to get into London on the tube. The food and service were very good and we were made to feel very welcome by our Italian waitress and other staff members. It's a great spot on the river and we will come down again when next in town!

Still the best Sunday roast. We had a pre match sunday lunch which was devine. The pub was very busy because of the match but they had lots of staff who were friendly, hard working and effective. The roast beef is so tender and tasty as were the roast potatoes and lush gravy. The bell and crown definitely do the best Sunday roast in the area. Speisekarte ansehen

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We booked a table for 8 people for a Christmas work lunch. The booking process, menu selection, and payment before arrival were all very simple and easy. When we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, everyone's orders were correct, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Despite not living in the area, I will definitely be back in the future. The roast potatoes were especially amazing!

When the food finally arrived, I had ordered a starter and a side. The starter, a cheese pudding, was cold and lacked any cheese or mushrooms, which were supposed to be included. The batata harra side dish seemed to have been sitting out for too long and was also cold. When we received the bill, we were charged for the inedible food. They did remove the items from the bill when we pointed it out. I have a lot of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked as a chef and in front of house in busy restaurants. Visited for warm family dinner with two tweens in tow on a windy rainy evening just before England Vs Australia women's football match at Gtech stadium. Fantastic warm welcome from numerous members of staff, reservation was handled no problem and most tables were reserved even at 5.15pm so pub was quite busy. Sat in cosy conservatory, which was warm and cosy despite wind and rain we knew we'd scored a winner of a pub right away in case the match was called off! Drinks ordered and quickly brought out, food was also brought out within 15 minutes of ordering despite being busy although without feeling rushed.
