"Stayed at the LHR Marriott for a night and wanted to try some local food. I had the garlic/chili shrimp as an appetizer and the lamb/mint burger as my entree. Both were super delicious and a great value for the taste and portion. I wanted to get in/out quickly so chose to order the food at the bar along with a beer. Doing this was a bit cumbersome as you can’t order food directly at the bar. There was a separate station where you placed your order. Thankfully the food was delivered to the bar and I was able to pay at the bar also. If you’re in town and near LHR airport, give this place a try."

The staff were extremely efficient and went out of their way to make you feel welcome , just 10 minute walk from the Ibis hotel Heathrow. food was excellent considering it had such a large menu

The title says it all a reliably good, tasty start to any trip from Heathrow. Have eaten here many times and the food is always generous and flavoursome. It is always busy, so recommend booking.

This spot is great for an occasional night out. Enormous portions, great atmosphere. A bit offputing having security guards at the door but maybe it’s necessary at the weekends. Having said that no sign of trouble

The quality of both food and service was excellent. Not sure whether this is a restaurant or a gastropub but it had a great atmosphere and was really busy. Recommend booking. My friend is a gluten free vegetarian and found plenty of choice.

If you’re staying on Bath Road, forget the overpriced hotel restaurants, this place is where to go. The menu is extensive, restaurant quality food, generous portions with a capital G, staff that have been trained to a very high standard, and very good prices. It is very popular with flight crews, and despite being a large venue it gets very busy and booking is advised.

We hadn't reserved a table and feel very fortunate that we arrived early evening and got a table. For a Monday the restaurant was very busy in a short period of time, The word must be out that the service, food and environment is absolutely fantastic. After ordering, we did wait a while for the food, but very much worth the wait. Fantastic presentation, taste and plenty of it. Thank you for making our visit a great experience.

Been to the pheasant many times never had a problem, friends met up to celebrate a birthday. When we got to the entrance of the car park there were 2 security guards, looked like armed police very rude very uninviting. One of the guards rushed over to the car I was in and shouted no children, there were no children with us just had a child seat in the car. The attitude of the Security was very off putting. Service wasn't very good food was ok. We won't be back after the experience we had.

As I did not want to stay in my hotel I searched for a pub that did real ale and found this little gem. Although the beer was not to my taste (poured flat) there was a selection to be had. It looks like an old coaching in that has been extended and includes a quirky restaurant to the rear. We are the pub grub. The potions were good the food enjoyable and the service quick and polite. Only 300m off Bath road, used by the locals as well as flight crews from the airport this may not be a secret but it is wort a visit.

"what a disappointment, never again. well booked in advance for a Saturday evening meal for three and was very excited about it. was in zaza both in bushey and in pinner and had nothing but good experiences, so thought it would be nice. to have a change of landscape in ruislip. how wrong I was. it was shown our table that was right next to the door and in the middle of the entrance, right where someone went to the restaurant that waited for her table, would float and not a suitable room to enjoy a quiet family dinner. I understand that the last years were challenging for restaurants, but even if they want to add some extra seats in less than ideal places, they should at least warn their patrons before they book them. When I asked if we could be moved, I was asked what was wrong with the table and when I pointed out that the unpleasant edification was welcomed by apathie. I asked if we could be changed to one of the many other empty tables in the venue and said that they were all booked, but that we could wait to see if someone was gone I had booked our table week to be clearly offered the worst place in the house and then essentially treated like an inconvenient walkable to ask left an extremely acid taste. I found the personal I spoke to be cold and quite rude. feeling frustrated and unintentional, we decided to take our business elsewhere and received a warm greeting and a beautiful meal on the road on the mamma pink."
