Had a birthday gathering. Food was amazing.. we had a fantastic time.. The pub was lovely and cosy.. everyone enjoyed them selves.. Highly recommended

John and Mark have played a blinder Saturday breakfast at The Bell Leigh is delicious, plentiful, and freshly prepared as much tea and coffee as you like. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly chat is a perfect start to you Saturday. Well done guys Xx

We had a wedding party for 50 guests here. The pre-ordered buffet was excellent, the staff were helpful and efficient and the landlord went out of his way to ensure we had an unforgettable evening. Lovely local pub with great food. Staff are friendly and the food is plentiful and reasonably priced. Pub welcomes both locals and visitors to the area with equal friendliness. The community is lucky to still have a pub at the heart of the village, when so many others have ceased trading. A public house and eatery worthy of support. They do a great Sunday lunch and will always try and accommodate walk ins. A ploughman’s and a pint on a balmy Saturday afternoon always hits the spot.

Really enjoyed an excellent meal with a great real ale, Swordfish. We were a party of 18 so a lot of people to serve, especially as there were plenty of other people having meals. The prawn cocktail starter was great, tasty and a good sized portion. Often find pub roast dinners are not as good as home cooked, however, the roast beef with Yorkshires was excellent. Great variety of beautifully cooked vegetables, which were lovely and hot with generous quantities. Lovely country pub providing good food at reasonable prices with efficient and friendly service.

Worst attitude i've ever witnessed from what i can only presume was the manager as he was the only one not wearing uniform. If he is a manager then you wouldn't know it as he's clearly never had any training in such a role. Accused us of lying before realising he'd made a mistake, instant aggression before even listening to the issue we had. After running off embarrassed he was wrong he continued to stare at us all meal and even man handled a child and was rude to our disabled sister who wanted to get outside while he was stood in the doorway smoking. Absolutely well worth a visit. Mum I visited mid afternoon on a Sunday like most pubs they provided roast dinners which did not appeal to us. I just assumed that they had other offerings so was relieved when we were given the Specials menu to find something that was more to our taste. Mum had the chicken curry I had the cottage pie. The portions were huge so we ended up taking half portions home. I personally thought mum's chicken curry was excellent. My cottage pie was not the best I've had but i did like the vegetables of which there was more than i expected. The quality of food was exceptional. The hospitality from the patrons was really good the friendliness of the locals made our lunch...

What a wonderful Father’s Day treat, took my mum and step father to this beautiful pub on his special day and we weren’t disappointed. Had to book in later at 2.30 due to the fact they were fully booked but accommodated us by locating an extra table from their own home to fit us in. The roast was fresh and HUGE! A nice selection of starters and puddings to choose from and had to almost roll out of the door. Under a lot of pressure that day with not an inch of space left for more customers there were still lots of smiles and helpful staff at every turn. I can see how this little treasure of a pub is so popular not only with locals but further afield. Highly recommend this beautiful community...

We have Just has the most awful experience in a pub that I have ever had. I'm so upset by the experience here and I can't believe that it has just happened. I'm not sure who else I can contact about this and how we have been treated. We use to go to this pub most weekends for a roast dinner, before covid and lockdown, think it was different owners back then? We were booked in for 3.15pm, we arrived at 3.10 ready for our Fathers Day meal, our table wasn't ready so we were told we could go in the markee and wait. We ordered drinks at the bar and then went to our table, which was finally ready at 3.45 pm, half hour after our booked time. We went to order our starters and our main meals, but unf...
