A very warm welcome from Steve and staff. Clean, well decorated. Food well-cooked (if veg a tad under-cooked) but fresh, hot and good portions. Good selection of beers and wine. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Food has always been great there but since the new chef has come into the team it's even better, friendly atmosphere, very welcoming kids love the outside play area. The staff have done an excellent job well done guys #supportyourlocal

the staff, manager were nice, very friendly and attentive, the buffett ever did a great job it was delicious, the venue is so much more friendly and clean, since the last renter was. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to book a room for a functional buffet thanks to many!

As we are soon moving to the area it seemed only polite to check out the local Hostelry and my word what a welcome! After only two visits Steve and Fay are like old friends and the whole place has a homely feel with a wonderful play area outside for the kids. Really looking forward to making it our Local. (Great food too).
