The food was excellent and we received a warm welcome. Thank you for welcoming Jake and George. They both loved their chicken nuggets. My fish and John's gammon were also delicious. Thank you.

Just moved to the area and stumbled across this pub, wasn’t sure from the location but really could not recommend more highly. The food was fantastic lots of choice and great value. Well worth a visit.

We recently decided to go out for a meal and settled on this restaurant. The atmosphere was charming, reminiscent of what a traditional pub used to be. We also had a meal which was delicious. I regret not also picking up a few sausage rolls from the bar as they looked fantastic. The young bartender was attentive and eager to assist with anything we needed. Speisekarte ansehen

Saw the reviews of the place and decided to check it out and we were not disappointed. Great place with great food. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming, made us feel comfortable. Charming secluded pub garden. It was Sunday, so had the carvery and ice cream. Everything was really tasty and plentiful. Cooked with care. I would really recommed. Will be returning in future.

During our stay in Walcote for an event in Lutterworth, we decided to stop by for a drink and a bite to eat at this charming local pub. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection of delicious pub food, which was reasonably priced, freshly prepared, and served with excellent customer service. If it weren't for the event we had to attend, we would have gladly spent a delightful evening here.

Stopped off for a quick point after a job nearby. Don't let the outside appearance fool you..it may look like a house but inside it has the feel of a proper pub. It's run by the community, which is great. So many village pubs have gone. I had a nice pint of session Wherry ale for a very reasonable price and the landlord was a friendly, chatty bloke. Wow such a lovely, welcoming pub with great food. We were heading to kilworth house and they kindly started serving food early so we could dine with them before the show. So glad we came, there were 10 of us and we ordered a variety of food and it was all cooked well and delicious. I had the veggie burger and it was the nicest I've ever had. The man behind the bar was super friendly and welcoming, and the drinks and food were great value for money. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

We arranged to have Sunday lunch here as a family to celebrate my son's birthday. As we were travelling a long way Emma was extremely helpful and offered to get in some balloons for us and decorate the table thank you! The food was great, on Sunday there is a choice of two roasts as well as the standard menu. And the chocolate torte dessert is to die for! Thanks Nathan, and for taking my son's nut allergy very seriously (I know places should but you seemed to go that extra mile). Thanks to all the team for a great celebration. We will return.

I’ve driven past the Black Horse many times, but have never been in. My son has been in a number of times and so, we decided to celebrate his birthday there with family and friends. The large pool area was gifted to us and ample seating provided so we could all sit, have a natter, and enjoy the food that the pub laid on for us. It’s for such a lovely homely atmosphere and is well served by the local community I can see why! The staff are lovely, bar prices are very reasonable and there is plenty of room as it’s quite a large pub. The facilities are very clean: sometimes a pub can be let down by the loos! Not here.
