Should be called the black hore. Was like a brothel in there. Never visiting again and the owner looked like a disappointed horse

Vile owner who doesn’t like children and her roast beef gave me an upset stomach for weeks, Avoid this pub also stinks of wet dog

Fabulous pub with brilliant staff and a lovely owner. Cannot recommend it too highly superb food from an obviously talented chef called on the way to France and on the way back

Met family for a Sunday roast here, it was absolutely delicious. It tasted just like a home made roast. Staff were very warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was great. We would definitely go again for a Sunday roast

A lovely country pub with comfy sofas and a roaring fire. We popped in for a beer after a long walk and liked it so much that we came back later for dinner which was delicious, and clearly home made. Friendly staff and friendly locals, and dog friendly too. Speisekarte ansehen

Well what I can I say from the moment you walk in your get a warm welcome. Cosy village pub with lovely atmosphere. Lovely open log fire.. I eat here with my family . Plenty of choice of food, food arrived and it was lovely home cooked proper fresh food… amazing and puddings just as nice and all home made. Will definitely be back again. Lovely village pub..

It’s been a couple of years since we was last here and was recently told it was under new management. We thought we would give it another try while we was away at the caravan park almost opposite. What a warm friendly welcome we got from the landlady and staff. We ate here and went to the NYE party. We had such a great time and we felt like it was our local. We will be back more often now. Food was good

Was passing through on Saturday and so glad we were. We’ve never been here before but the pub had an instant welcoming feel. We were greeted by the waiter who showed us to the table. Bar staff were super friendly and welcoming too. Open fire was crackling away and we were given menus promptly. Two young lads, who we later found out are brothers, were serving tables. The owner was chatting to tables and made us feel so welcomed. I had the Camembert and lamb shank and it was delicious. My kids loved building their own burger and the hubby had the haddock which he said was amazing. Will definitely return. Speisekarte ansehen
