Lovely place to go on a Friday night. Very friendly staff and a really busy welcoming pub. There were lots of separate food areas, and everyone was having a great time. It really is worth a visit and highly recommended.

I recently participated in the wine tasting experience at the Black Horse. As an enthusiastic wine lover, I found the entire experience to be quite sophisticated, with the needs of the customers clearly prioritized throughout the evening. The staff was very friendly, contributing to an overall fantastic experience. I would highly recommend it.

Food was good but the pub was chaotic and loud. Booked a table but they lost our booking, had to sit outside. Had to wait 10.mins at the bar to get served for a drink. This was our 3rd anniversary celebration night and after good recommendations for this place was rather disappointed. Would go again as it is walking distance from home but hope for better experience as is not cheap.

We went to an event at the Black horse on Sunday evening. We had brilliant night live music followed by stand up comedy. The food was great the atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were very warm welcoming and friendly. I would recommend the black horse to anyone looking for a good night out on event evening or quiz night or just to a quite drink and a catch up with friend or family. I has a lovely garden that can also be enjoyed on these lovely warm evenings.

Punters having a good time watching the football, singing karaoke and dancing. Sadly I wasn’t comfortable in this rundown environment despite the food tasting good. The chilli paneer tastes amazing as did the honeycomb cheesecake but the vibe was soo weird especially with the concoction of horrendous karaoke and Indian food. I ordered a cheese and garlic naan but the garlic was missing in action. I also felt that there was close to no authentic Kenyan food on offer.

We reserved a table in the lounge, which turned out to be a fantastic spot. The waitstaff were very courteous and not at all pushy. We started by ordering drinks, followed by our appetizers: Onion Bhaji and Chilli Paneer. Although the Paneer didn't have any chilies, it was still quite spicy. After a 20-minute wait, we proceeded to order our main courses: two Butter Chickens, which were spicy, a Chicken Tikka Masala that was also spicy, and a Goan Chicken Curry that packed quite a punch. Interestingly, they all had the same color. We had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the Goan Chicken while the rest of the table nearly finished their meals.
