"Lovely cafe in the centre of Belford, well worth a visit if you're in the area or passing by on the nearby A1. Nice cosy interior and also an outside patio area at the rear of the building. Staff are all welcoming and friendly and service came with a smile. In addition to the printed menu, there is a specials board with a variety of extra meals and delicious cakes. All our meals were cooked perfectly and portion sizes were very generous."

"Booked for a birthday treat. First visit. We were looking forward to some lovely fresh seafood. We were really disappointed. We were sat so close yo the couple next to us, that we may as well have shared a table. My partner had the fish chowder starter which he said was nice. For our mains, i had fish goujons- they had no flavour or texture. The chips were poor, some hard and some soggy. The tartar sauce was good. My partner had the fish pie which was padded out with indiscriminate white fish and lots of mashed potato. I had dessert. Sticky toffee pudding. Very small portion. Whole experience lasted 90 minutes. The whole experience was decidedly average. Bill came to £80 which included one glass of wine and a bottle of sparkling water."

"Lovely staff, and excellent food, we were all made to feel welcome. We took our 2 kids who where made very welcome we had curry of the day, and kids had spaghetti Bol, and chicken nuggets and we all had dessert, it was all home cooked, compliments to the chef. The pub had been freshly painted and was nice and cosy."

"For a brunch spot, it can be challenging to find a decent coffee to kickstart the day, as many local eateries in Seahouses do not offer milk alternatives. However, this particular establishment has really friendly staff, follows safe precautions, and provides baby changing facilities. We sat at a small table for two and ordered a flat white with milk, a breakfast tea with milk, two vegan wraps, and a vegan Oreo brownie. The coffee was quite sweet, so we had to order another one. The wraps were tasty and so was the brownie, but these were the only vegan options available, which made us feel limited in our choices. We would consider visiting again and recommend it if they can find a place in Bamburgh that offers better coffee options."

"Staff was lovely, as well as the food. We came in on a rainy afternoon after visiting the castle. The pumpkin sweet potato soup was just the thing to warm me up.
