The restaurant always has a welcoming atmosphere. As a member of the D'Ukes Ukulele Group, we perform at the Blue Bell every year. It is a very uplifting venue with fabulous food. Rating: Food - 5, Service - 5, Atmosphere - 5.

I have dined at this restaurant for lunch before, but never for dinner. The steak meal I had was outstanding - tender, well presented, and the chips were delicious. The other ladies in my group were also impressed with their meals, which included pasta, squid, and lasagne. The atmosphere in the pub was great throughout, and I highly recommend dining here. This pub restaurant is fantastic. The food is of excellent quality and served hot. The portions are very generous and include fresh vegetables. The desserts are also lovely. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. This restaurant is perfect for large groups. The price per person is between £20–30. Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.

My Wife and I enjoyed an early evening meal at this very efficiently run, friendly pub tonight. After a day of incessant rain it was a delight to be made welcome by the engaging staff who very efficiently served us our drinks and food throughout our stay there. The food itself was quite outstanding, excellent value for money and somewhere we will most certainly return to, the sooner the better hopefully. Last night at The Bluebell I ate the best restaurant meal I 've eaten since I don 't know when! (For context this year I 've been lucky enough to travel alot and a few weeks ago had dinner in a Michelin star restaurant). I ordered the understated sounding roast chicken with sauteed potatoes . Far from being understated the roast chicken is cooked in an amazing tomato and pancetta sauce and the bowl it 's served in is packed with fresh ingredients and salad as well as the most delicious sauteed potatoes. My partner had one of the many pizzas on offer and we both said it was better than any we 'd had in Italy this year. We were really impressed. The waiter told us the chef is called Alex. So t...
