Beautiful dinner, lots of very nice veg, meat was cooked to perfection. Its our first time, for the delivery, we eat late, so 3pm was perfect for us,we will be doing this again

My husband and I visited the Bluebell for a lunch. Pub is lovely and did everything to meet covid 19 guidelines. Staff very friendly and welcoming. We waited about 35 minutes for our meal. But unfortunately was very disappointing. My husbands was okay. But I could not get a knife through the dumpling on my plate.I did tell the young lad who served us. We will try it again at some point as I realise how difficult these times are. But nice clean friendly pub. Speisekarte ansehen

Visited the other day at lunchtime with a pal to have a catch up. It’s been a while since I was at the Blue Bell. Certainly pre Covid. In that time the whole place has been refurbished and decorated. A new eating area outside with pergola tables looks really good, although we sat indoors. The young lady behind the bar was welcoming and friendly. A good range of drinks alcoholic non alcoholic were available. Everywhere was clean and tidy and hand gel was available in several places. They’re clearly aware of visitors covid concerns. It’s good to see a proper ‘pub’ that isn’t a characterless chain pub. Definitely a good place to call into for a good pint and friendly staff.

Visited Sunday 18/04/21 at 1300hrs We booked a table outside for Sunday lunch and we were greeted by a member of staff outside the front door who showed us our table We ordered drinks and food together. The drinks came quickly and the food about 15-20 minutes later. The menu was limited to Sunday lunch but we were able to order a hot beef sandwiches with fries which was delicious. The beef was slow cooked and soft with a fresh baguette. There was a generous pot of gravy for each meal along with fries. The food was served in a takeaway container which was expected due to COVID and allowed us to take some home for later. The food was reasonably priced but the drinks were a little expensive for...

I visited this local pub one new year day and I had our whole order refunded as each item come over 20 minutes apart. We all ate at different times and the food wasnt what was orders chips instead of seasoned fries. 2 tomatoes instead of a salad. We were there 3 hours and then got the whole meal refunded. Today I have gave them benefit of the doubt and tried it again however we waited 55 minutes for potato skins. They were nevertheless lovely, we got hot beef baguette which was awful sorry to say. Beef was as dry as sticks and the baguette reminded me of school dinners rubbery plastic bread. The fries were also oven chips, awful terrible food and the wait just made it worse, we were the firs... Speisekarte ansehen
