The Boatman - Speisekarte

I had a wonderful experience at this charming pub/restaurant. The staff was very attentive, the food was fabulous, and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely be returning when the weather improves to enjoy the garden and canal.

Had a very enjoyable lunch on the terrace. Was blowing a gale....but never the less was nice to be outside and watch the watercraft go up and down the canal. Its such a tranquil spot with million pound views. Great place to dock and have a spot of lunch or dinner. Speisekarte ansehen

Last minute booking as staying in the area for a wedding this weekend. Seemless booking online. Warm welcome from staff. Ordered from main menu. Starters and mains both good size portions well presented and delicious. Reasonably priced and would definately recommend.

Went for a 21st birthday.staff were really helpfull. Ordered £170 worth of food and drink. Chicken burger went back because it was very overcooked,two burgers were very well cooked and almost went back. Rest of food was ok but nothing amazing. All in all not as good as it should have been.

During a canal barge holiday, we spontaneously visited The Boat House without a reservation. The food and drinks were amazing, especially the Rosie's Pig cider which I highly recommend. I visited here this evening with my family , We had one waiter that said it was his first day starting there , I want to say what a fabulous young man he was how well his service was he did an amazing job attending to our table for food drinks, The food was amazing service perfect Will be visiting again Thank you the boat house

We ordered 3 burgers with fries and coleslaw. Fries were cold and replaced, burgers overcooked and tasteless, coleslaw mostly cabbage stalks, half a pint of Diet Coke £3.50, what a disappointment this was , we were trying to relive a memory of going there two years ago when everything was excellent, won’t be going again. Have tried to email pub but there link doesn’t work.

Excellent place to eat and relax, the team were so welcoming and professional. We stopped on our way through the village and we couldn’t be happier. The food was delicious, we had a lovely table by the window, we enjoyed the views of the canal and the fields. The pub is clean and well kept, also the beers were faultless, I had a few pints of directors and also tried a pedigree and they were lovely. My partner had a wine that was recommended to us and she said it was one of the best wines by the glass she’s ever had in a pub.
