By far the best Sunday lunch ever!! We have been in a few times now and the food never disappoints. Service was lovely and friendly. Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed my freshly beer battered fish and chips. My wife had the specials chicken burger with Parma ham. Welcoming host and warm, comfortable atmosphere.

This pub is fantastic - the Sunday Roast Dinner is excellent and the staff are super friendly. I would definitely recommend it and I can't wait to come back and try more dishes from their menu.

I stopped by for a late Sunday Roast. The new owners were very welcoming, and the service was great. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. There was a vegetarian option available, but it would be nice to have more than one option on the Sunday dinner menu. I will definitely be coming back.

Great little pub! We’ve been a few times and never disappoints. Very welcoming and relaxed. We had Sunday lunch today and it’s the best roast beef dinner I’ve had for a very long time. Delicious, tender meat, crunchy roast potatoes and a variety of fresh vegetables and home made Yorkshire pudding and gravy. It’s a hidden gem!

Was looking for a venue that could host a 60th 70th birthday party with the added glamrock band as entertainment ,Sian and Ian helped plan the special day allowing the pub to be dressed for the occasion.Food was exceptional .The whole experience was topped off with great staff who looked after our guests with true professionalism .A highly recommended team who puts the customer first

I hadn't planned on going here, it was a last-minute decision since Bonds was closed. I'm glad I didn't have ice cream anyway. I had one of the best Sunday lunches ever here, with fresh ingredients cooked beautifully. I hope to eat here again next time we are passing through. A small downside is that this pub allows dogs. As a dog owner, I don't mind, but there were quite a few noisy dogs that slightly spoiled the experience. Other than that, it was excellent. Thank you.

A few miles inland from the busy seafront at Blackpool is the delightful village of Elswick.where The Boot and Shoe pub/restaurant is located. Originally in the last century it was a farmhouse, then expanded and became an ice cream factory and also a small village pub. But once the ice cream production ended the pub was extended and now is an excellent restaurant as well.
