I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and would highly recommend it. The staff were amazing and I, as a solo female traveler, felt safe and well taken care of. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you.

Food and drinks: Although we did not stay overnight at the restaurant, those we spoke to who did were very impressed. We visited a few times just for a meal or a drink. The quality of everything was amazing, especially the Kent white wine Bacchus. Highly recommended. Speisekarte ansehen

Planned a networking christams dinner out to this lovely pub. Booked for 23 people and was delighted with the service! The table was ready for us early; the food was to die for; the service was fast and attentive; every single staff memeber was friendly and had a smile on their face. Couldn't reccomend it enough! Four of us went for lunch during a weekday. The pub was quiet. The service was friendly but professional. Two of us had the sausages and mash (from a pig named Garry you had to be there to appreciate the joke) which was probably the nicest I've ever had. Gorgeous pub in the Kentish countryside with fantastic walks nearby. We visit regularly and are always welcomed by friendly staff who would do anything for you (especially Sandy! . Have eaten here on a number of occasions and have always thought the food was delicious, good quality and fairly priced. I've never seen the rooms here but the bar always seems full of content travellers from afar. Oh and they have an AWESOME beer festival here in the summer. Speisekarte ansehen

We dropped by for a few beers in the afternoon on New Year's Eve with some friends. The pub was not crowded, but the few people there were blocking the bar. We tried to make our way through to order at the bar, but the staff didn't seem to care about us. Instead of moving aside, the locals just stared at us. It was a very odd experience. We decided to leave and find a more friendly pub. It appears to be a pub for the locals only. We will not be returning. Service: 1 Location: 3

Typically, I would observe the establishment for a few weeks before writing a review in order to fully experience the atmosphere using night vision equipment. However, my impulsive side led me to simply walk in and order a pint. While inside, I noticed a man who bore a resemblance to a South American rodent, possibly a capybara or a similar species. This was quite surprising for Kent, especially considering the lack of large bodies of water nearby. Kudos to the establishment for their conservation efforts.

I stopped by this restaurant on my way back from a day out on New Year's Eve. The bar was not crowded, but I was unable to get to it because there were 8-9 people who were not paying attention to their surroundings, having conversations with their backs to the bar and effectively blocking access. The bar staff did not seem interested and did not acknowledge our presence. We stood there for 8-10 minutes while an old man with white hair stared at us as if he was judging our souls. We left without either of us getting a drink. There were also a random group of people sitting in cars in the car park.
