Excellent pub, excellent staff. We went for a kids Halloween party and had a fantastic time. They put on such a good event. We had food before hand which was great to.

Food average .. friendly enough waitresses .. not Sure about the cleanliness .. a lot of old food stuck between the grooves on the table .. can clearly be seen .. put me off tbh..

Very good carvery. Prawn starter needed seasoning. Staff, Mollie particularly were excellent. Excellent customer service. Found the pub to be in need of a 'smarten up ' but above all and as said, carvery was very good.

I haven't been to The Bread and Cheese for a long time and will definitely be going for their carvery more often. The carvery was delicious, the meat was fresh, they had proper homemade roast potatoes. Lovely selection of vegetables and thick gravy. Nice atmosphere in the pub.

This restaurant is amazing. The service is top-notch, especially our waitress Rachel. The newly refurbished venue is stunning and the decor is welcoming. The black and white photographs on the walls give a nostalgic feel. The carvery was superb, thanks to Michael. The food was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. We were extremely impressed with the updated decor of the restaurant and found most of the staff to be cheerful and welcoming during our visit. The carvery was delicious, with all the meats being of high quality. The only downside was that the vegetables were a bit dry from being covered to keep them warm. The turkey and ham broth that was served alongside the carvery was exceptional - I could have eaten it on its own!
