Came for lunch with family and we were served by Katie who was very friendly and an excellent waitress. Food was delicious!

Staff were pleasant but never asked if our meal was ok or if we’d like more drink’s until the end of our meal, at best it was mediocre food, have eaten here many times over the years and food was much better, such a shame but think we will give it a miss in future.

Many family visited this pub for my mothers 60th Birthday, we had great service from Kara, Romina, Seyf Sian and felt looked. We managed to book at notice and the team were happy to assist bringing the cake out whilst singing ‘Happy Birthday’. After a busy day in Cambridge, this is just what we needed. Thank you, we will return.

Service was slow with our order taking almost 30 minutes. It didn't appear too busy. The staff were pleasant, however Food was OK. Steak Ale pie was tasty, however the pastry was underdone due to it being too thick The fried halloumi in ciabatta was, again, passable. The salad it was served with was a dry, wilted mess. The pub itself was well designed and appointed.

As we entered we were met by a very friendly man who sat us outside by the river. Very pleasant location. A very friendly lady server came up, I commented on how nice it was to see a smiling face, we ordered drinks and our meals. Food was well presented, hot and cooked very well. Male server also very pleasant and cheerful. Most enjoyable all round, well done to all.

Having passed this pub in its' beautiful setting several times we decided to have lunch there recently and found the staff to be delightful and very helpful. The food was excellent and in fact we returned the following evening to have dinner. Both meals were well presented in a timely fashion and delicious. The only negative has been mentioned before and that is the hopeless automated booking system which we gave up on and simply called in for lunch. Great that the terrace is non-smoking and also worth noting that all areas are dog-friendly.

We came here on Friday with a voucher as due to the reviews from friends I would not have volunteered to eat here. However, you have to try these things. I just wish I hadn't. We booked a table, this was an automated impersonal process but it was efficient. We ended up sitting outside and the location is perfect, the setting is really beautiful. We ordered our food and the starters arrived promptly. However, shortly after the mains arrived as well which was then taken back agan. Service was average but friendly. The food was absolutely shocking. I had three starters, salad drowned in dressing, chips and seasonal vegetables. Presenation was distinctly average. The vegetables were clearly over...
