"I was really disappointed with my Sunday lunch and fish and chips. The Sunday lunch lacked seasoning, the cauliflower and beans were almost raw, and the lamb had way too much fat. I don’t mind a bit of fat on lamb since it's naturally fatty, but there was more fat than meat. As for the fish, it was overcooked. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and offered us a complimentary lime soda and apple juice to apologize for the issues. Service: 4, Location: 3."

We arrived early then our booking, manage to get parking straight away, we went to the bar and were served immediately for our drinks. Later we were called to our table when it was ready. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. Service was excellent the Sunday roast was to die for, well worth the price. Was only there for a meal not to use the hotel. Service: 5

The food is overrated and overpriced when it comes to Sunday roasts. Our meal arrived cold, and the gravy was bland and lacking in seasoning. While the restaurant has a great location and serves decent food during the week, they seem overwhelmed by the number of customers on Sundays. They really need to improve in order to justify the prices. On a positive note, the hotel is quiet.
