I frequently visit this restaurant for a quick drink and enjoy it very much. The staff is friendly, the outdoor seating area is great, and they provide parking.

A very cosy country pub with a relaxing garden, located in a historic village outside Oxford. We had an enjoyable lunch. £30 for two including drinks. Friendly staff and easy parking. We will be back.

I have eaten in and this week took a takeaway roast dinner home for the family. Can't fault it, Can't cook this at home for the price. Fantastic value for money and everyone can have their preferred meat choice with none of the hassle.

Arrived early for booked slot but no problem. Courteous staff and god menu choices. Generous portions cooked to perfection, best to avoid breakfast beforehand.! Only disappointment was chosen dessert had run out. Will definitely return.

We received a smiling and warm attentive welcome on arrival. The service was wonderful and friendly. Food was exceptional. We had gluten free fish and chips. Probably one of the best fish and chips dinners ever. Other diners food also looked amazing. Really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will return next time we are in the area. The Inn is stunning with friendly staff, who provide a delightful dining experience. We decided to dine here after wanting to escape the blandness of our hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a cheerful staff member who seated us and took our drink orders quickly. The menu may be small, but it offers a great selection. My husband ordered the ham, egg, and chips, while I opted for the salmon salad with chips (decided to indulge on our weekend getaway!). The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. This hidden gem in a charming village is a must-visit.

Delicious take away Sunday roast. I love a roast but don't often have the chance to have one. Usually very busy on a Sunday as a full time carer for my husband and 99 year old mum. This was perfect, amazing value and lovely food. Picked up our meals all ready on time and beautifully packed. Nothing was over cooked so meant heating up later resulted in a lovely meal. I blasted the roast potatoes snd yorkshires in my air fryer and gently reheated (safely) the veg and meat. Meant I could do my mum's shopping, get petrol etc. etc. and then sit down with a lovely roast dinner. Much appreciated!

I have been to this lovely little country pub a couple of times in the past week. The first was for drinks and the service was excellent as was the ambience. Its a small pub but lovely on the inside and a perfect setting on a sunny day outside. There is a rear patio that is also good for outdoor dining. I've also been here last weekend for one of the best Sunday pub lunches that I have ever had! The chicken wing starts were amazing and came with a healthy amount of tasty sauce. I had the road lamb which, as the title of this review says, was as good as it gets. I can't think of a better sunday pub lunch good sized servings, beautifully cooked and served with excellent, friendly service. Well... Speisekarte ansehen
