Visited for the first time today after a recommendation. We were not disappointed. Pies were amazing, service was superb. One of the bar staff even got me a mug to prop up my phone so we could watch the Ashes and the British Grand Prix at the same time. First Class. Speisekarte ansehen

A new cocktail bar has recently opened and it is fantastic. The cocktails are top-notch and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend checking it out. Cost per person ranges from £10 to £20. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. Don't miss out on trying the Sunday Pie and Buffet, as well as the pies.

Great pies ! I had the Moo with mash and mushy peas and my partner had the Mistle Moo with chips and peas. Both pies were excellent. We also had a beer and a cider. In my opinion, the best pub in Newbury is this one. I am a regular visitor and am always impressed with the food and beer choices. It can get quite busy at times, but the atmosphere is fantastic. A small yet bustling pub located in the center of Newbury. The staff is attentive, although somewhat limited, as it seems they have expanded faster than management can handle. It's recommended to visit during off-peak times to sample some unique beers or ciders. Prices range from £1 to £10 per person. Service receives a rating of 4, while the atmosphere gets a 5.

Lovely beers, good prices and a fun food menu. Only issue is one particular staff member. Bald Head, Tall, Dungarees, Beard. Gives me dirty looks, has shouted at my face calling me rude when i’m hanging out with my friends and embarrassed me. I try not going into the Catherine Wheel due to his rude and unprofessional service that leaves me feeling uncomfortable! Price per person: £10–20
